Martin Hederos’ sensitive and fondling way of playing the piano together with Mattias’ harsh and cracked voice became very successful also by the audience in Sweden and filled concert halls and theatres. They also toured Europe together with Ryan Adams and the second album Together In The Darkness (2001) was release in large parts of Europe.
However, the duo had to disband when Martin Hederos got his hands full with Soundtrack Of Our Lives successfully touring and releasing records in US and elsewhere. There was no way to plan Hederos & Hellberg’s career when all plans had to be changed all the time due to SOOL. The duo split up in early 2002.
No Fun

No fun my babe no fun
No fun to hang around
Feeling that same old way
No fun to hang around
Freaked out for another day
No fun my babe no fun
No fun my babe no fun
Walking by myself
No fun to be alone
In love with nobody else
Well maybe go out maybe stay home
Maybe call mom on the telephone
Well come on, well come on,
Well come on.
Well maybe go out maybe stay home
Maybe call mom on the telephone
Well come on, well come on,
Well come on.
Don't leave me alone
Hang on
Ain't no fun
The lyrics to Hederos & Hellberg's song No Fun express a sense of boredom and despair. The repetition of "no fun" throughout the song highlights the lack of enjoyment in the singer's life. The singer doesn't want to hang around because they feel the same old way and are freaked out for another day. The line "No fun to be alone, in love with nobody else" suggests that the singer is in a rut and possibly feeling unfulfilled in their romantic life. They are considering different options, like going out or staying home, but none of them seem appealing. The line "Maybe call mom on the telephone" adds a touch of humor to the song and suggests that the singer is feeling lost.
The chorus, "Don't leave me alone, hang on, Ain't no fun" adds a plea for someone to stay with them, emphasizing the loneliness the singer is feeling. The song captures a feeling of listlessness and ennui that many people can relate to. The repetition of "well come on" suggests that the singer is willing to try something new, even if they don't know what it is.
