Martin Hederos’ sensitive and fondling way of playing the piano together with Mattias’ harsh and cracked voice became very successful also by the audience in Sweden and filled concert halls and theatres. They also toured Europe together with Ryan Adams and the second album Together In The Darkness (2001) was release in large parts of Europe.
However, the duo had to disband when Martin Hederos got his hands full with Soundtrack Of Our Lives successfully touring and releasing records in US and elsewhere. There was no way to plan Hederos & Hellberg’s career when all plans had to be changed all the time due to SOOL. The duo split up in early 2002.
Take Care

I'm here who knows for how long
Forget about the past and what's done
This might be our only chance
Will be the one who's always straight(stray)
Someone who never takes a step for anything at all
But who am i to tell you what to do
I'm just like you
A loneless soul without a clue
Still waiting for the mail(man)
And so i tried to sort things out
Tried to be honest and right
But now it's early and i'm too late again
I guess i'll never learn
So who am i to tell you what to do?
I'm just like you
A loneless soul without a clue
But i'm holding up my head
The lyrics of Hederos & Hellberg's song, Take Care, convey a sense of yearning for connection and comfort in a world that can be unpredictable and uncertain. The opening line, "Take care of me for a while," suggests a vulnerable state and the desire for someone to offer comfort and protection, albeit temporarily. The following line, "I'm here who knows for how long," implies a sense of mortality and fleetingness, which makes the request for care feel all the more urgent. The chorus encourages a departure from playing it safe and taking risks because this may be the only opportunity for something meaningful.
The verses reflect on the singer's experiences of trying to do the right thing or "sort things out" but ultimately, feeling like they have missed their chance. The line "I'm just like you, a lonely soul without a clue," acknowledges the universality of this feeling, as though the singer is addressing the listener directly, recognizing that everyone faces uncertainty and the hope for someone to help guide them. However, the final line, "I'm holding up my head," suggests a determination to keep going despite these struggles.
Overall, the lyrics of "Take Care" paint a picture of a person who is seeking care, guidance, and meaning in a world that can be difficult to navigate.
