In April 2005 she started her solo career as Heidi Happy. Just two years later she has hit her peak. By the end of 2006 she won a reward (Werkbeitrag) from the city and kanton of Lucerne, Switzerland, wherewith she produced her first album Back Together on Little Jig Records/Irascible Distribution.
Record release party: march 23, 2007 @ Schüür, Lucerne, Switzerland.
support: clara luzia, austria
Music:
Everything that Heidi sings has passed her heart a million times. It’s all stories, that make her sad or happy, that made her scream, cry or even puke.
While she’s singing these stories, one has the feeling that her heart might soon fall out her mouth.
No matter if you start being tired of all these singer- songwriters, or if you think the turquoise of her guitar doesn’t match her shirt; the songs, her voice, the combination of beautiful melodies and unscrupulously personal lyrics make your heart dance in a different world.

Heidi Happy Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Earths are humble, urban sounds, nice and loud.
Turned around, turned around.
I find a decent place to go, Canada.
Your whole show me what I need to know.
Turned around, turned around,
Turned around, turned
Your flood is gray, your see is cold, turn around.
The lyrics to Heidi Happy's song "Canada" are both simple and cryptic, leaving much room for interpretation. The opening lines, "Let me go, I'll held your hand, Canada. Earths are humble, urban sounds, nice and loud" can be seen as a plea to Canada, a representation of the possibilities and opportunities the country has to offer. The juxtaposition between "earths are humble" and "urban sounds, nice and loud" suggests a balance between the natural beauty of Canada and the excitement of city life. However, the repetition of "turned around" throughout the lyrics hints at a sense of confusion, as if the singer is lost and unsure of where to go.
The following lines, "I find a decent place to go, Canada. Your whole show me what I need to know" reinforce this idea of seeking guidance and direction. The singer is searching for a place where they can feel comfortable and learn more about themselves, and Canada is the destination that can provide that. The final lines, "Your flood is gray, your see is cold, turn around" bring a sense of melancholy to the song. While Canada may provide opportunities and guidance, it's not without its struggles and difficulties. The gray flood and cold sea could represent the challenges the singer will face in Canada, reminding them to turn around and think carefully before moving forward.
