During the 90s, Andy was singer and guitarist with Wigan band Monkeyland, playing the same seedy north west venues as The Verve and More Perfect Watchers, who went on to become Witness. After Monkeyland split, Andy went back to mixing up motion graphics with sound and produced some animated videos for bands such as Inspiral Carpets and The Mountaineers, but it wasn't long before a new band was formed called Cannula, with original Monkeyland singer, David Spencer, and other ex-Monkeyland: Neil Wignall on bass and Nigel Wood on drums.
Cannula released an album called A Neon Serenade but then drifted apart. Andy began work on a solo album under the name of Heifervescent. Neil plays bass guitar on a few tracks.
Up till now there have been 8 full Heifervescent albums and various other experiments and collaborations.

Stop Following Me
Heifervescent Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Or are you pleased to see my plans?
Well here you go, you can have them all
Read them till you're blind
Because I'm going to change my hair and what I wear
I'm going to change my lock and keys
You can do what you like
But stop following me
Now I'm home, push the door
But look who's standing on my floor
How did you get in?
Oh you sucking louse
Oh what you doing in my house?
I'm changing my face
I'll change my skin and bones
If you just leave me alone
You can do what you like
You can do whatever you please
But stop following me
I bought a one way ticket to hell
And you were right there behind me
I see the man on the door
He sees me down on the floor
I'm asking nicely now
Please don't let him in as well
You can do what you like
You can do whatever you please
But stop following me
Get me, get me, get me, get me out of here
Get me, get me, get me, get me out of here
Because I'm going to change my hair and what I wear
I'm going to change my lock and keys
You can do what you like
You can do whatever you please
