In the first stanza of Helloween’s “Heavy Metal” the lyrics describe a group of musicians who are talented and perform well, but it seems as though they do not really know what they are doing. The chorus shifts gears and discusses the Heavy Metal Hamsters, their set free lifestyle and how nice it must feel to be a part of that dynamic. The second stanza shifts the focus to the music industry, portraying “A 20th Century Fox”, an industry executive or representative, who comes along and offers the hamsters drugs, deals, TV shows, and more.
