Nash also notably played on Art Pepper + Eleven. His solis on 'Round Midnight are one of my favourite parts of that album because of the somberness. Would've been really neat to hear a nice and sentimental solo midway through since that's what he does best. Art could've used the break anyways lol

When I was young, in the 50's, we would vacation in Palm Springs. My mom would drive us to a drive-in movie south of Palm Springs, possibly Indio. More elegance and sophistication is impossible. Mancini was a formidable composer enormously apt to create the sublime, silky pieces that no other composer has matched in the history of movies and TV. Even more so, his incidental music was often times more beautiful and elegant than the main themes.
