Her Words Kill were originally formed in Hertfordshire, UK in 2002 as a three members band. Their first shows exhibited a UK hardcore styling to their music, but their music evolved into the more technical and complicated music showcased on their released material.
2004 saw the release of a three-track demo I Will Not Die Her Hero on December 28th. Their debut full length album Load My Revolver, Baby was released on October 1st 2005 through You, Me Records.
In 2006 the band lost a couple of members and recruited two members of Guernsey live favourites The Mid Carson Coalition to join their ranks as the local boys were relocating to UK to go to university.
In the past, they have played shows with the likes of The Blackout, Bring Me the Horizon and Enter Shikari. The band disbanded in mid 2007 and Luke Pickett branched out as a solo artist; Luke Vidamour and Ollie Smith still feature in the line up of Pickett's touring band.

Her Words Kill Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
She's fading away
She's turning away
This perfect night
I wish it could never end
And romance it glares at us
Until our hands meet
Winter skies they signify my love for you
The lyrics of the song Holland by Her Words Kill showcase a poignant narrative of a relationship that is slowly fading away. The beginning of the song expresses the emotional state of the person who is watching their loved one turn away and drift apart from them. The use of repetition in the lines "She's fading away" and "She's turning away" emphasizes the sense of despair and helplessness that the singer is feeling. The lyrics then move on to describe a perfect night where the couple is lying under a plain sheet and romance is glaring at them. This line suggests that the couple is trying to hold on to their love and intimacy but are failing due to external circumstances.
The next line "Until our hands meet" further emphasizes the desperation of the singer to hold on to their loved one. They want to cling onto their relationship and are trying to find a way to keep it alive. The final line "Winter skies signify my love for you" further suggests that the singer's love for their partner is still strong but is slowly fading away with each passing day. Overall, the song is about the heart-wrenching experience of losing someone you love and trying to keep the relationship from slipping away.
