@@davidchildress285 - This is why I treasure mine.
She is the reason I made it through my teen years. But she gave my sister and I the very best childhood anyone could ever ask for.
Unfortunately, my sister doesn't respond to her when she calls or texts. She's an ass.
I was little in the early 80's and It Might Be You by Stephen Bishop brings vivid memories of mom taking my sister and I on the back year to play in the tiny blow up pool, and in the sprinklers.
I thank God that I can see her today.
My heart goes out to all of you.

Lost my wife in 2010 to cancer, our wedding song. Breaks me up every time I hear it. Love you Joanne

Lost my dad in 2002 to Cancer, and my mum to Acute myeloid leukemia in 2016. I hear this record and it just brings back wonderful memories of wonderful parents ❤. Another record that always reminds me of this awesome music is Bobby Goldsboro, Summer, the first time.

Herb Alpert didn't always sing, but when he did, it was magic.

True magic
@pippadawg7037
The magic was choosing him to sing this particular song even if he wasn't really known as much of a singer. His untrained voice and lack of technical skill imparts the song with naiveté, and raw vulnerability. It raises the stakes and the emotional intensity of the song's plea.
@SmilingOakTree-jy7du
I bought this record when I was ten with a dollar I found on the Seaside boardwalk and loved the words and the way he sang it off key. A great song of love.
