One part revealed his frustration being in protective custody or super max & not in general population, he described some of the men looking like actual women & how disgusted he was being around them. This is highly disturbing that Netflix made a documentary calling him gay when he has hetero relationships and an 8 year old daughter. Netflix lied to participants in the documentary saying they wouldn't discuss his sexuality, then went back on that promise. That's not proper consent for the documentary to air. I hope his family & those people who were lied to will sue Netflix

Agree. What I found even worst is the fact they do not mention anywhere the reason why he was acquitted in the second trial, actually, they make it look like he is indeed guilty of those two murders as well. He was acquitted because there were more than enough reasonable doubts. I read the book his second lawyer Jose Baez wrote about the second trail and the last days of Aaron and it is so good. It gives extensive details on how he won the case. The evidence was undeniable, and that Alexander Bradley, Aaron´s so called ´friend´ is a liar. One thing I can take out of Aaron´s tragic life is: Beware who you hang out with. Be very careful who you offer your friendship and loyalty. Aaron made wrong decisions being around such bad people and paid an incredibly high price for it. Soooo sad. It is so sad from every angle, for the victims, their families and for Aaron himself.

I feel Aaron Hernandez was a living example of a human tragedy. His behavior was and is unquestionably the result of something beyond his control. He knew he had done the things he was accused of but, he had no control over the outcome of his actions. Oden Lloyd, his one-time friend, did not die at the hands of Aaron Hernandez but, of a disease that created psychopathy he carried with him onto the field of play and his personal life off the field. Aaron possessed remarkable respect between him and Tom Brady. It was beautiful to observe Aaron on the field of football play. To see Tom Brady grow to respect his abilities was remarkable. He had such chem between the two of them. No person with a 40 million dollar contract would do what he did and expect to survive in our society with such animosity towards reality. His future was made and the things that he did and did not do were things that were not congruent to a normal person's life. I have movies of him performing at his best. What he was and what his life could be was a human tragedy. AB Brown does things that are not congruent with what another great athlete has proven to be the truth. No one can be held responsible for the behavior that they have exhibited with what they possessed in their brains. They are ill and in Aaron's medical history could not be saved from what played out. He had a condition that occurred long before he signed a contract with the Robert Craft organization. May God's presence heals Aaron in heaven and lets it be known, Heaven is a better place now that he is there with him Amen

I would be interested to know how much involvement the NFL had in that documentary. They spent three quarters of the doc speculating about his sexuality and only 5 minutes on the fact that Hernandez had the worst case of brain damage ever recorded for a young man his age.

I think Hernandez made some terrible decisions and wasn't an angel, but his story is very tragic. I think he fell in with a bad crowd and funded their black market weed business.

Netflix needs to be sued on this ridiculousness. This 8 year old is now going to probably face bullying because of other kids watching the docs with their parents. Like she said. They used those phone calls of her daughter WITHOUT CONSENT FROM HER. They took Aaron’s name and dragged it. It’s not a bad thing to be gay/bisexual. But to try and prove it on a doc after the person is gone is pure evil. They could have used the opportunity to make a doc about football and head trauma. And other football related long term injuries.

I watched this whole documentary and it made me so sad for that man. Everyone makes mistakes. He lost EVERYTHING. His mother's mistreatment, his life off the field, trying to be accepted. He did talk about the gay prisoners more than once, in a cruel way as if he was embarrassed by them, in which his BM even had to correct him on a jail call. She was obviously tired of his foolishness but still stood by him and the victim was her sisters S.O.,

There's nothing wrong with being gay, but there's a lot wrong with making assumptions about someone's sexual orientation and outing him on a platform that size without the permission of the people who loved him most.
