Town
Heroes V Might and Magic Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
You better not cry
You better not pout
I'm telling you why (why)
Santa Claus is coming to town (gather around)
He's making a list
Checking it twice
Santa Claus is coming to town
He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake
You better watch out
You better not cry
You better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town
With little tin horns and little toy drums
Rudy-toot-toot and rummy tum tums
Santa Claus is coming to town
And girls they get dolls that cuddle and coo
Elephants, boats, and kiddie cars too
Santa Claus is coming to town
The kids in girl and boy land
Will have a jubilee
They're gonna build a toy land town
All around the Christmas tree
You better watch out
You better not cry
You better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town
He sees you when you're sleeping
And he knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake
You better watch out
You better not cry
You better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town
You better watch out
You better not cry
You better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming
You mean the fat man with the long white beard
He's coming to town
The song "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" by Heroes V Might and Magic is a classic Christmas tune that exudes the holiday spirit with its lively melody and cheerful lyrics. The song is primarily centered around the excitement of children during the holiday season by emphasizing the anticipation of Santa Claus's arrival. The lyrics suggest that Santa Claus is keeping tabs on every child's behavior, and the naughty ones may not receive any gifts during Christmas. This notion is coupled with the idea of reward and punishment, suggesting that those who have been good will be rewarded with their wishes coming true.
The lyrics also reference the presents that girls and boys will receive, such as dolls, toys, and little tin horns. The verse about building a toy land town around the Christmas tree implies that the holiday season is about celebrating togetherness and creating happy memories with loved ones. The final verse reinforces the idea of being good and deserving rewards. Overall, the song encourages children to be on their best behavior in anticipation of Santa's arrival and highlights the magical joy of the holiday season.

New Luxembourg is accepted for founding in New Jerusalem.. Luxembourg may choose the location whenever they wish to do so, or are certain.. they needn't reveal it to Non-Flank countries..
the best model for warmer climate fast travel in a future city that wants to survive an Ice Age.. is to have vast non-geometric channels, similar to Venice, but underground.. maybe even linked to a natural river or water supply
this prevents evaporation, and keeps the water reserves from overheating.. water is many times faster and easier to travel on, with boats or even basic fishing boats, if it is hidden at least 6 feet under the ground level surface of the town.. with the underground facilities and utilitary buildings also concealed beneath, with their front to the channel where travel is done both on the water (Netherlands style by floating / sailing) and on tartan sidewalks on both sides of the canals..
the residential can mostly be on top, this way.. with commercial and other important building types below.. for work or any kind of labor or dealings, business, trade etc. since these are damaged by being overexposed to sunlight since customers tend to avoid daylight in a warmer climate, but prefer the nighttime travel, when most business is closed..
this allows for traditional roads to be avoided in the center, since those are needed in the outskirts / periphery / suburbs, where there is more surface.. instead of these, large transparent panels made of resilient plastic or glass can be placed as "mobile roofs" or invisible ceiling - bridges, above the water canals, to cover them and prevent surface level travelers from falling in them..
in case of rain, these canals can be used to store excess water, and drain them into special clean tanks, for purification by boiling, or drinking..
the panels that replace roads in the center, have to be strong, so heavy transport carts or cart-wheels can be safely used on the top streets (which will also have fewer cars, since most "public transportation" will be underground in the water channel system..)
this will eliminate the risk of traffic jams, and the base floor of most buildings, even newer residential ones.. will have enough open areas for parking, and alleyways, or crossing paths.. to let residents travel faster in the city (many times faster, if the entire ground level of the new city is open for walking, then reaching any place in that city by foot, will take minutes instead of hours (especially if using a bike or any other light transportation)
These are the future cities of the New Jerusalem "arid" warmer climates.. since they will have maximum shade for skin protection, to avoid sunstroke.. and hasten travel many times over, since you can take any direct liniar route to your destination, both ground level, or creative underground routes in the many chaotic asymmetric canals below ground level
the heat of the ground or surrounding sands will protect the underground water supply from freezing.. but even if it does, sleds can be used for fast transport or skiing, while avoiding the unbearable frost found above, at ground level (if moderate weather turns to heavy winter, temporarily, which is bound to happen, even in very warm climates, each winter when snow will decorate New Jerusalem)

I think 6 had some interesting mechanics, like converting captured castles and stuff to your faction, but agreed - 5 is by far my favorite I've played (though my dad has suggested to try 3 if I ever got the chance)
@Demetrius900000
Storywise 6th was the pinnacle.
@poobels
I really liked V but in my opinion VI is just like V with much better story, much better graphics, much more complex units and heroes. I feel like VI is mostly an overall improvement to V (the towns were so mich cooler in V though).
@KuhoinX
@@poobels 6 was repetitive, too long and boring. I finished 5 twice but couldn't complete half of the campaigns in 6. The story in 5 wasn't great but 6 was also forgettable. In terms of mechanics, I quite like the ultimate racial skills introduced in 5. They were OP but also hard to get so you would have something to work towards during your play. Heroe development in 6 as far as I remember was more or less identifcal and nothing intereting. The only thing I like 6 more was the boss fight and unique battle.
