You hear this music as you’re walking outside in the freezing cold, trying to get to the library. After you reach the entrance you’re immediately greeted by gremlin servants who offer to take your staff and fur coat in the hallway. You then hurry up the stairs to join the other Mages in an old, but pleasantly warm library hall. What a heavenly feeling it is to just sit by the fireplace, study in silence and read about the history of magic spells. After a while (1:55) you look outside the window and notice an army of golems marching in the snow blizzard. They’ve been ordered to build additional dwellings for nagas and gargoyles. Their obedient mechanical movement almost reflects the law and order of this land. Somehow you feel very safe here. If any fool tries to attack he will be met with the wrath of the Titans dwelling in the temple. You linger on this thought for a while, before shaking it off. Enough daydreaming. Knowledge is power so you return to reading your book. The time is now to focus on the final chapter titled : “The Art of Chain Lightning”

This is the longest piece in Heroes III. It's definitely the more complex and best piece in my opinion. The soaring strings and woodwinds crawling up and down is fantastic.

This piece reminds me of Russia for some reason, like the cities of St. Petersburg or Moscow. Really fits the cold, wintery atmosphere of the Tower Town, imo.

This is very fun town to play. 3 ranged units, library for extra spells and heroes with very high wisdom so praticaly never run out of mana.

A hundred years later from my childhood, I’ve pretty much stopped playing games. I have a genial idea. How about collecting money and building the tower town in real world. With all that buildings, libraries, mage tower etc. It would be nice something like amusement park. If some investor do this then he earn alot of money + he will give the people real fun.
