They use piano, guitar, synths, programmed loops and live drums to blast out energetic tunes. They have claimed they will play anywhere, but you can mostly see them in San Francisco. They give away lots of free downloads and stickers. They sell posters and CD's, both online and at live shows.
Hey Young Believer got started when Lilly Wolfson (keys, vox) and Alex Neuhausen (guitar, bass) met at Stanford in spring of 2006. Nick Shilling, the drummer, joined that winter. Alex launches midi bass-line sequences using a foot controller hooked to a PC laptop. Lilly plays a midi keyboard through Reason on a Mac.
Their name comes from the Rancid song "Black Lung Fever" from their album "Life Won't Wait." They claim that it's a saying that would preface some question calling attention to structures and rules in life that they take for granted, just because they've always been that way or because of something they've been told. According to Alex, the way they yell the line in the song, it's unforgettable.
Their first full-length LP, "Invisible by Day" is out now, available on iTunes and Amazon. The album features an eclectic range of material, from the punk style of "Fashion Week," to pure pop like "Waking Up on the Floor," to soulful piano tunes like "Float Away." As of late, the band has moved towards an indie synth-rock sound, as found in the songs "10, 9 8" and "Tidal Waves."

I honestly still don't understand why a show like this will no longer be showing. I wish the cancellation would be reversed

He brings the truth and this country don’t want the truth, it can’t handle the truth.

AND THE RESULTS IS??? BTW TAYLOR, YOUR STORY IS ALMOST THE SAME AS MINE. I STARTING SEARCHING ON FB, INBOXING ALL OF MY POTENTIAL SISTERS AND BROTHERS, THEN THEIR FB FRIENDS, AND I FOUND OUT THAT MY DAD TOLD THEM TO FIND ME BEFORE HE DIED A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO. STILL NO DNA TEST, BUT I LOOK JUST LIKE HIM. I WANT TO KNOW FOR SURE THO. IT IS SAD THAT I'VE KNOWN ABOUT 4 OR 5 MEN TO POTENTIALLY BE MY FATHER. IT'S SICKENING. MY MOM RAISED ME TO THINK THAT THE MAN THAT RAISED ME AND GAVE ME HIS LAST NAME WAS MY FATHER UNTIL I WAS 15 YRS OLD. AND SHE HAD THE NERVE TO BREAK THE NEWS TO HIM BY LEAVING A NOTE ON HIS TRUCK AT HIS JOB. HAD HIM ON CHILD SUPPORT AND EVERYTHING. AND NOW YOU HAVE THE ENTIRE FAMILY HATING AND LOOKING DOWN ON ME. I DIDN'T ASK TO BE HERE, I AM THE INNOCENT ONE. I WOULD NEVER, EVER, TAKE MY CHILDREN THROUGH ANYTHING AS SUCH.....!

Her mom should be ashamed! She deserves to know who her father is!

So many scenarios there may be a valid reason.

@Tee Bull. Her mom doesnt even know for sure, she was playing 3 different guys at the time, at least. Watch the video again when she’s talking about sponsors and her mom mentioning a different guy that wasnt her dad, and then she came up with this other guy

Her mom should not be ashamed. Her father should be ashamed. Her mother possibly fears that she will get the same rejection that she received. Her mother stayed and acknowledged who he is.
