In Hezekiah Walker's song Every Praise, the lyrics emphasize the idea that all praise and worship belongs to God alone. The song invites a unified chorus of believers to lift up their voices in praise to God, emphasizing the repetition of "every praise." The repeated phrase "Every word of worship with one accord" emphasizes the idea that every person who offers worship to God should come together in unity, with one voice, expressing their reverence and adoration for God. The song also acknowledges God's role as Savior, Healer, and Deliverer, emphasizing the power and greatness of God.
The message of the song resonates with many people, as it emphasizes the importance of staying united and coming together in worship, no matter what background or denomination one comes from. The song is often used in churches and worship gatherings to bring people together in unity, as well as to remind believers of the importance of praising God for who He is and all the blessings He has bestowed upon His people.
