I'll Make It ft. John P. Kee

But Jesus stepped in right on time
I sure been sick and I couldn't get well
When He healed my body and I can tell that it's
(Alright now)
Think I'll make it
(Think I'll make it)
(Anyhow)
It's alright
(Alright now)
Think I'll make it
(Think I'll make it)
Anyhow
(Anyhow)
I was lost without a friend
Then I met Jesus and He took me in
In all of your temptation, He'll keep the faith
He already planned a way for you to escape
(Alright now)
Said I know I'll make it
(Think I'll make it)
Anyhow
(Anyhow)
It's gonna be
(Alright now)
Said I'm gonna make it
(Think I'll make it)
Anyhow
(Anyhow)
Through your trouble and through your pain, you better believe
(You can believe that it's alright)
Don't you stop shoutin', don't you stop praying, you better believe
(You can believe that it's alright)
Everything's gonna be
(Alright now)
Said I'm gonna be alright
(Think I'll make it)
(Anyhow)
(Alright now)
Alright now
(Think I'll make it)
Anyhow
(Anyhow)
I'll make it
I'll make it
I'll make it
Everything's gonna be
(Alright now)
Think I'll make it
(Think I'll make it)
Anyhow
(Anyhow)
The lyrics of Hezekiah Walker's "I'll Make It" ft. John P. Kee display a message of hope, perseverance, and faith amidst challenging circumstances. The song is a testimony to the power of Jesus Christ to intervene and provide healing, salvation and rescue in moments of distress. The first verse describes a time when the singer was financially broke and physically ill but Jesus stepped in to save the day right on time. The second verse speaks to a time when the singer was lost and felt alone, but Jesus took them in and became a friend. The chorus repeats the phrase "think I'll make it anyhow" as a declaration of confidence that regardless of the obstacles faced, he will overcome because Jesus has already made a way of escape. The bridge encourages listeners to keep shouting, praying and believing that everything will be alright.
