But through it all, Jesus gave me the strength to stand
And that's why I love His name
My God's been good, merciful, kind
Humble with my heartaches
He heard my faintest crying
And he answered me, He delivered me from all my fears
He's Alpha and Omega
Beginning and end, the lamb that was slain
The Christ that still lives, the greatest power
He's my strong tower, Yes
And I will always praise His name
Strong and Mighty Peace the same
He remains the same He'll never change
That's why I Love him, I love Him
I will always praise His name
Strong and Mighty Peace the same
Never will I serve another name
Oh yes I love Him, I love Him
I've had some trouble, I've felt much pain
But through it all, Jesus gave me the strength to stand
And that's why I love His name
My God's been good, merciful, kind
Humble with my heartaches
He heard my faintest crying
And he answered me, He delivered me from all my fears
He's Alpha and Omega
Beginning and end, the lamb that was slain
The Christ that still lives, the greatest power
He's my strong tower, Yes
And I will always praise His name
Strong and Mighty Peace the same
He remains the same He'll never change
That's why I Love him, I love Him
I will always praise His name
Strong and Mighty Peace the same
Never will I serve another name
Oh yes I love Him, I love Him
No greater love, no greater love
No greater love, no greater love, no!
No greater love, that's why I love His name
No greater love, no greater love
No greater love, no greater love, no!
No greater love, that's why I love His name
No greater love, no greater love
No greater love, no greater love, no!
No greater love, that's why I love His name
No greater love, no greater love
No greater love, no greater love, no!
No greater love, that's why I love His name

Hezekiah Walker’s song “No Greater Love” praises the love of Jesus Christ and recounts the struggles in life that the singer has overcome through Him. The lyrics express the strength and hope that the singer gains from their faith in Jesus. The first verse speaks of the singer’s hardships and pain, but how Jesus gave them the strength to stand through it all. This leads the singer to love His name. The second verse speaks of the singer’s experience of God’s mercy and kindness that helped them through heartache and fear, and how he answered their cries. This section then proclaims that Jesus is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the lamb that was slain and the greatest power. The bridge reiterates the singer’s love for Jesus’ name and promises to always praise it. The chorus repeatedly states that there is no greater love than Jesus’ love and that’s why the singer loves His name.
Through this song, Walker celebrates the power and love of Jesus Christ, and how the singer found strength from Him in times of hardship. The lyrics express gratitude towards Jesus for His love and for being faithful in times of trouble. The song is meant to inspire listeners to appreciate the love of Jesus Christ and to have faith in Him, as the singer has.
