I always called this main character Simon Belmont with a sword. A great Konami game.

This music is epic,but the game is so extremely hard,that I think it's one of the hardest games I ever played...and this has no sequel...why? It's no a big deal being hard,there's no easy Konami games,this one have an awesome story,music,and everything...

Castlevania is mostly based on American filmography, which was an alien concept in Japan at the time. For example, Japan did not know what a succubus was until they released Darkstalkers. It's a similar thing to America getting creeped out by The Ring and The Grudge.

This game is very creepy too...this and Sweet Home...are the creepiest Famicom games I have played,of course Sweet Home is based on a horror movie and it's the First survival horror RPG game ever made.

I say that in the way that people says that Castlevania/Akumajou Dracula is creepy(Which is not) I mean Castlevania couldn't be creepy in anyway...but this one got something that I consider kinda creepy...not really scary. Resuming...just a little creepy. Just like Zero(The giant flying bleeding eye) from Kirby 3.
