Beyond The Pharao's Curse
Highland Glory Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Out in the desert many years ago
Two lovers were living in sin
Worst of all curses the pharaos gift
To be living as dead for eternity

Beware of the magic that dwells in dimensions
Beware of the curses that rules in this world
Beware of the magic that spells in the ancient
Beware of the curses that rules in this world

Lifetimes after the curse is awakened
There is no life to be spared
His only wish is to unite to his true love
Rule the world by her side

Beware of the magic that dwells in dimensions
Beware of the curses that rules in this world
Beware of the magic that spells in the ancient
Beware of the curses that rules in this world

The warriors were battling for evil to vanish
To the realms of death
Slaughter of innocence claiming their souls
The curse begins to fall

Beware of the magic that dwells in dimensions
Beware of the curses that rules in this world
Beware of the magic that spells in the ancient
Beware of the curses that rules in this world

That rules in this world
In this world
And the curse, the curse begins to fall

It falls, and the curse begins to fall
To fall, and the curse begins to fall

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Highland Glory's song Beyond The Pharao's Curse talk about a curse that was bestowed upon two lovers who were living in sin in the desert many years ago. The curse was the worst of all curses, the pharaoh's gift, which made them live as dead for eternity. The song warns listeners to beware of the magic and curses that dwell in dimensions and rule the world. The curse that was once awakened caused no life to be spared, but the only wish of the cursed was to unite with their true love and rule the world by her side. This curse caused the warriors to battle for evil to vanish to the realms of death, and the curse began to fall as the innocence was slaughtered, claiming their souls.

The song touches upon themes of love, power, and magic, with a warning to beware of the curses of this world. It tells a story of a cursed love that was doomed to live as dead for eternity, and the desire to rule the world. The lyrics are powerful and evoke a sense of ancient mysticism and magic.

some albums are just better than others do to the writing . like compare dio magica to holy diver i think holy diver blows it away. or judas priest stained class to jugulator or turbo stained destroys both of em put together .i think it has alot to do with the guitarists writing.
