Don't get me wrong, he's still my favorite lyricist probably ever, but I think by the time Uncontrolled Substance came around, the Wu hype train started to slow down and people began aging up and moving on. He gave the group and other people's albums (even outside of Wu, that Big Pun & Prodigy collab 🔥) some of his best output. It would've been nice to get "hungry" Deck mid-90's somewhere around the Purple Tape and Ironman. Or right before Liquid Sword,.
