I wanna fly so high, alright?
Because wanna be boy, wanna be girl

The song "ツボミ" by Hilcrhyme speaks of the growth and development of individuals, using the metaphor of a budding flower. The song encourages the listener to take courage and step out of their comfort zone, and to not give up on their dreams of blooming. The lyrics remind the listener that every person has their own unique color and that regardless of the circumstances, like the changing weather, one must continue to care and tend to their budding selves with hope and determination. The song also reflects on the beauty in real life rather than perfection, using the example of a wildflower being more captivating than a perfectly crafted artificial flower. The song ends with a reference to the cycle of life, where every season and every year brings new buds and new opportunities for growth.
Overall, the lyrics of "ツボミ" are inspiring and encourage the listener to find their own path and bloom in their own unique way.
Line by Line Meaning
Hey, what's up? Come over here, don't stay there. Now take one step and gather the courage to shorten the long distance. When uprooted, the roots that are firmly rooted in the earth can never be removed. Not searching for anything more, we are here, for how much longer?
You haven't given up on blooming, have you? You've sown your seeds, encountered the wind and rain. Have you been waiting for a sunny day? Let's raise it carefully, stronger than anyone else. Infuse it with your wishes and love and try again. I wanna fly so high, alright?
We are buds, someday, we'll bloom. Amidst the ever-changing weather of sunshine and rain, let's give it enough water. See, let's raise it high so it doesn't fall to the ground. Bloom gloriously towards the sky, towards the one and only flower.
But more than that, I want to bloom. I want to blossom, even if it's a misshapen form. Because we wanna be boys and girls. And that flower is a representation of your soul. What color should it be? Red, yellow, blue, white? Or maybe purple? All colors are wonderful. In anxiety and hope mixed into pastels, let's make a color that only we can do that can't be imitated.
Rather than flowers that are made intricately, the figures that live roughly capture people's attention without a moment's hesitation. They exude fragrances that manufactured flowers can't. Breathing in and out as if photosynthesis, we turn to the direction of the sun. Let's grow proud of our flowers and stems that can reach to the heavens.
