I'm 66. I got invited to church by a classmate at age 12 in 6th grade. Had never been in a church. Those Words! The Beatitudes were like what the French call un "coup de foudre". A thunderbolt. Love at first sight. It was the Jesus movement and I had no idea. I began singing Scripture songs that began in my heart. I didn't know there was such a thing as Christian music. I have lost so much in this life. Heaven is so much sweeter today than it ever seemed to me before. Jesus is my Friend.
