That leads to your door
Will never disappear
I've seen that road before
It always leads me here
Lead me to your door
The wild and windy night
Has left a pool of tears
Crying for the day
Why leave me standing here?
Let me know the way
Many times, I've been alone
And many times, I've cried
Anyway, you'll never know
The many ways I've tried
But still, they lead me back
To the long winding road
You left me standing here
A long, long time ago
Don't leave me waiting here
Lead me to your door
But still they lead me back
To the long winding road
You left me standing here
A long, long time ago
Don't keep me waiting here
Lead me to your door
Lead me to your door
"The Long and Winding Road" by Himesh Patel is a song that tells a story of an individual trying to find their way back to the one they love. The lyrics describe a long journey that always seems to lead them to the person's door. They have been through a lot of difficult times, including nights when they were alone, and it rained so hard that it washed away some of their tears. They express their desire for the person to take them back and lead them to their door.
The song is about love, loss, and trying to find one's way back to someone they care about. The lyrics suggest that this may not be the first time the person has looked for their loved one or gone through a difficult time. The lines "many times, I've been alone, and many times, I've cried" suggest previous attempts to find their way back. The singer is pleading for their loved one to take them back, and they are willing to travel a long, winding road to reach them. Overall, the main theme of the song is the power of love and the lengths one will go to find it.

The long and winding road
The complicated and twisting path
That leads to your door
That leads to where you reside
Will never disappear
Will always exist,
I've seen that road before
I've come across that path previously,
It always leads me here
It consistently brings me to this spot,
Lead me to your door
Guide me to where you are
The wild and windy night
The tumultuous and stormy evening,
That the rain washed away
That the rain cleared,
Has left a pool of tears
Has left a collection of pain and sorrow,
Crying for the day
Yearning for a future time,
Why leave me standing here?
Why abandon me in this spot?
Let me know the way
Show me the direction to take
Many times, I've been alone
I've experienced solitude multiple times,
And many times, I've cried
And, on several occasions, I've shed tears,
Anyway, you'll never know
Anyhow, you'll never realize,
The many ways I've tried
All of the various measures I've taken
But still, they lead me back
But, nonetheless, they bring me back
To the long winding road
To that intricate and twisting path
You left me standing here
You deserted me in this place,
A long, long time ago
Many, many years in the past,
Don't leave me waiting here
Don't abandon me and leave me waiting
Lead me to your door
Guide me to where you are
But still they lead me back
But, nonetheless, they bring me back,
To the long winding road
To that intricate and twisting path
You left me standing here
You deserted me in this place,
A long, long time ago
Many, many years in the past,
Don't keep me waiting here
Don't make me continue waiting here,
Lead me to your door
Guide me to where you are
