When you sleep
Don't forget about me
When you leave
'Cause day after day
This love grows
And in so many ways
This love knows
Dying trying fighting
All this passion is burning
In me
And my tears are falling dropping
Can't stop this is what we call love
Love
Don't forget about me
When you say goodbye
Early in the morning
When you pass me by
Don't be a stranger
To my poor little heart
No
And don't let these tears
Fall again from my eyes
Now
Don't forget about me
Don't forget about me
Don't forget about me
Don't forget about me
No no no I tell you
You know where I lay down to sleep
And you know about all my dreams
When your hands are moving around me
I'm dying I'm trying I'm fighting
All this passion's inside me
Inside me
Inside me
Don't forget
Don't forget
Don't forget
Hindi Zahra's song "Don't Forget" is a heartfelt plea to a lover, asking them to remember her no matter where they go or what they do. The song begins with the repetition of the title lyrics, emphasizing the importance of not being forgotten. In the first verse, the singer urges her lover to remember her even when they sleep and leave, a testament to the depth of her love. The following lines reveal the strength of her feelings as she describes the burning passion she cannot ignore, even when it causes her tears to fall. The chorus then returns, serving as a reminder to not forget about her, even in the face of goodbye and passing each other by.
The second verse reveals the vulnerability behind the singer's words, describing her poor, little heart and the pain she experiences when her tears fall. However, this vulnerability is juxtaposed with the confident assertion that her lover knows everything about her, from where she sleeps to her dreams. The bridge serves as a climax, with the singer's desperation peaking as she repeats the song's title one last time.
Overall, "Don't Forget" is a passionate, emotional plea for someone to remember the depth of the singer's love, even when they are apart.
