"Habibi Dah" is a popular Arabic song sung by Hisham Abbas. The title can be translated into English as "My Beloved" or "My Love". The song is about falling in love with someone and being overwhelmed by their beauty and charm. He expresses his love through lyrics about his beloved's cheeks, voice, laughter, and musical talent. Abbas sings that he gave his heart to his beloved before even speaking to him, revealing the intensity of his infatuation. He wonders what to do with his love and passion for this person, knowing there is no way to escape it.
The chorus repeats the Arabic phrase "Nary Naryeen" several times, which translates to "I am on fire, I am on fire from his beauty." The phrase emphasizes the extreme feeling of burning passion and love that the singer feels for his beloved. Abbas also speaks of the moment when he fell for his beloved, indicating that it was all in the way his beloved looked at him. He then proclaims that he has surrendered his heart to his beloved without even speaking to him, making it clear that this passion he feels is beyond his control.
The song's repetition and focus on intense emotion and passion are typical of Arabic love songs, and Abbas delivers an exceptional performance with his passionate singing style. This classic love song continues to be beloved by Arabic-speaking people worldwide.
