An indie rock/dream pop outfit from Atlanta, Georgia that has released two albums Honey Power (2018) and Tuck Yourself In (2017) and 2. an Estonia rock band formed in 2005.

Honey Power was conceived in summer of 2005 in Tartu, when Martin Kikas (vocals, guitar) and Madis Aesma (drums), both been running a common band before, decided to try out once more. So the baby was born! In the first rehearsal the bass guitar was asked to play by Inga Nõlvak, and after a while Indrek Martis joined in bringing along the sound of keyboards. Couple of months of productive song-writing and soon first promising sounds were recorded with the microphone of the laptop only. Songs were filtered into the friends' PCs through the Interent and gained lots of lively interest. Moreover, it didn't take long when the most significant Estonian indie-label SekSound called Honey Power on the carpet and made an intriguing proposal to record their first LP.

The hard-working summer in the studio was upstandingly praised on September 1, 2006 when Honey Power released their debut album called Macrosilly.

Stylisticly, it is rather tricky to classify Honey Power, but those who fancy Pavement, The Wedding Present, lo-fi approach to britpop and synthpop should find enough

PARDEEP YADAV yes. Honey is a good sweetener for diabetics to use. But no more than 1 tea spoon per meal. Also preferably raw honey. Now having said that the honey use I’m talking about is applying the honey directly on the wound and not eating it. Though I do recommend all my patients that I treat with diabetic foot ulcers to eat 1 tea spoon of honey 3 times a day while the wound is healing. As a diabetic myself I use honey to sweeten my tea and other hot beverages. I also use it to make butter and honey sandwich for breakfast as well as just consuming a tea spoon 3 times a day assuming no other consumption.

The sweet taste of honey is attributed to its higher fructose content, and fructose is known to be sweeter than glucose or sucrose. Honey is about 17% water. (Sugar is mostly glucose which is harder to get from eating a non processed diet)

Should have mentioned that it has to be raw honey, processing it kills of most of the nutrients. I would like to add that mixing it with bee pollen makes it most effective. I've been taking "raw" bee honey for years and I have to confirm everything in this video is true. If you can find it local makes it even more effective due to the fact you become immune to all of the allergies in the local area. I can't say enough good things about raw bee honey, it will be apart of my diet for the rest of my life!

Been eating Florida blueberries and local honey each day for about two weeks. About 2 cups per day. Some days with strawberries and blackberries but always with honey. I feel the difference. I have less inflammation. Better digestion, better mobility and haven't had a migraine . I'm actually shocked and didn't start this for health benefits...just started it because we got a ton of blueberries that needed eaten and had some orange blossom honey. Not until a few days in did I even look up the health benefits. After only a few days I noticed changes in how I felt and I wasn't trying to notice. One thing you forgot to add about which honey to choose, make sure to buy honey that is unpasteurized, local unpasteurized if available. The pasturizing process kills all the good enzymes in the honey, making it lose a lot of its beneficial abilities.

I started using honey on a regular basis a few years ago. Firstly as a substitute for sugar on cereal and since then I use it all the time in cooking. You can use it in nearly everything. Try frying onions in some light olive oil (slowly) with garlic then add honey to caramelize. Add chilli for some heat and you have a great side accompaniment to pretty much anything or use it as a basis for a curry or stew!! I also like to add honey to meat or fish when grilling or roasting for a beautiful and tasty glaze. Experiment!! Its also great on icecream!

I started using honey in lieu of sugars...but ended up gaining weight, and prediabetic...so I stopped all direct sugars. Haven't gained but haven't lost...honey and garlic or lemon is good for certain things...colds, immunity, etc. But not if you're looking to lose weight.

I started to take local honey every day in my coffee ( 1 tea x 3 cups) for the past two years. After the first 9 months I realized my Asthma was Gone ! No more inhalers or no more nasal sprays. There is a sauce used in some Chinese recipes that goes well with many meats, tofu and vegetables. Combine soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and pepper, marinate whatever you want to cook in it, then fry it in your pan or wok. I don't know the exact measurements since I do it a little different each time, but usually I get a flavor similar to that of the food from a decent Chinese restaurant.

After such advice as this, I had a cup of warm water with honey added to it, on an empty stomach, the following morning, and felt sick for a time. Honey is an excellent anticeptic. When I had an infection oozing pus. After cleaning away the pus, I applied honey and the infection cleared up very nicely, faster than when using conventional treatment.

I love my mother. She swore by honey as a natural healer growing up. My big brother came home with third degree burns from a car radiator as a teen. She got him treated at the hospital where they scraped away the bubbled burnt skin then she cleansed the areas with honey and water everyday. I thought she was crazy back then, LOL. He has no scars from it. Needless to say I listen to my ma as an adult. Not saying anyone should try that on there burns. She's good at that stuff.

Beekeeper here. I eat massive quantities. Must be raw for most benefits. A tip: Raw honey on wounds! Amazing!
When I extract I get honey from May, June, and July and bottle separately. Different nector and pollen sources. Trees are blooming in May. In July its more clover, dandelion, late flowers.

I sliced off a decent chunk of finger on an electric meat slicer and treated it with only manuka honey, changing bandages daily and it only took 4 weeks to completely rebuild flesh and grow back. Took daily pics of the progress. Never went to a doctor but pharmacist said that it was incredible after seeing it before and after. Amazing stuff.
It also healed triple bypass wounds a lot quicker. Love honey for it's super properties.

Very interesting video, but forgot the most important honey ingredient: The enzyme Glucose Oxidase, which converts honey in hydrogen peroxide when in contact with oxygen in the body. That helps eliminate most pathogens and fight infections.

If you're going to buy honey get unpasteurized honey, it contains all the enzymes and nutrients. They sell them at health food stores and some grocery stores like whole foods. The words pure and natural don't mean anything, look for the words unpasteurized or raw. Raw honey is also a good choice because its not heat treated. Real raw honey looks creamy, thicker and off white. Dark unpasteurized honey has more antioxidants in it but it tastes more robust and stronger, less sweet. If you want the health benefits of honey choose unpasteurized or raw honey.

Using warm water to wash honey off your skin will cause the honey to get out off the skin. Using lukewarm water on the other hand, washes the honey from skin's surface but keeps some of it in pores. Before applying the honey, you can also warm up the skin (bath, sauna) to open up the pores.

Trying to improve my health, I replaced sugar usage with honey usage. After a period I became aware of a pressure problem in the frontal lobe area. A rare visit to the Doctor revealed that I had very high blood pressure (220/120). I declined pharmaceutical drugs and changed my diet somewhat. The blood pressure settled down to about 170/95, however on the odd occasion I felt the pressure in my head again. On one particular occasion when I moved to a tropical area I had the idea that honey may be adding to my blood pressure problem, so I swapped back to sugar.
The improvement in blood pressure was almost instant.
Could honey have something to do with this problem, or could I have an allergy to honey. Or was I just consuming too much honey.

Use honey on the body at the first sign of bad sores. Or on any wound. My father was bed ridden for 16 months and any time there was the least sign of a pressure sore we applied honey. He never had one bed sore.

When I start feeling a cold come one I mix a tablespoon of honey, a teaspoon of minced garlic and about a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. I put that in a cup with warm water and drink it down. I do that about 3 times a day and it helps with all the symptoms.

Honey is amazing. Thing is though, there r so many types of honey that is made, n they all have different benefits cuz of the plants they come from. I think one of the most healthiest types of honey we know so far is raw Manuka honey. It's real dark which is better due to the increase in antioxidants like mentioned in the video, n there's probably more to it. The ones I had were from New Zealand, but the only downsides r that it's costly 4 a small container of it, n it tastes a little more bitter n strange compared 2 other honey types, although it still tastes great imo.

That’s good. Probably a bit far to go for most people But it sounds very rewarding and useful. I just wanted to add it’s about what’s NOT in commercial honey (honey lol) more than what is...The fillers are perfectly healthy

I will never by commercial honey again after learning the facts about the honey industry.
Honey bees have been dying at an alarming rate, up to 50% in the last several years. Yet honey consumption has gone up at least that much in the same time. So how is that possible? It's because China has been increasing their supply by adding rice syrup and other fillers to their honey and dumping it on the U.S. market. Even when a ban was put on them, China passed it through other Asian countries illegally. U.S. customs can't test more than a small percent of the imported honey, so the majority of the tainted honey gets in and used by large food companies in America. Buy honey that comes from local farmers. You will not only be getting honey that's better for you, due to the bees using plants in your region to make their honey, you will also be supporting a business in your local community.

Nothing could be sweeter.
