The single from State of Disgrace was the song "Freeze." It was made into a music video, and aired on Fuses' "Uranium," and MTVs' "Headbangers Ball." They also had the song Sakkara featured on the soundtrack for the movie "Saw 3."
Hourcast toured with bands such as Godsmack, Breaking Benjamin, Sevendust, and 30 Seconds to Mars in support for their debut album.
It is said that they are working on a new release, scheduled in late winter 2008.
This led to Dystopia, which took the band into much more of a hard rock style, with the keyboards stripped away. Some felt that this was a terrible album, making this a very divisive effort.

One decision left everything frozen in time. always.
Do you remember, what was promised?
Was it destiny to you?
Was it heaven?
You cant see. all invisible to you.
Its how souls get lost and betrayed.
This fragile thing we held so tightly to.
Unraveling and closing in on you.
Repeat Chorus
Its not meant to be. but if there is a will, there is a way
Its not meant to be. but if there is a will, there is a way
For us all
The lyrics to Hourcast's song "Freeze" speak of a profound sense of nostalgia and a feeling of being stuck in time. The song begins with reminiscing about the past, represented by "faded pictures of lives we lived." The chorus repeats "Always..." suggesting that the past is always present, and that the memories and emotions associated it do not fade away easily. The singer asks if the listener recalls what was promised, whether it was destiny or heaven, but then negates the possibility of seeing through it all as "all invisible to you."
The second verse describes the consequences of making a decision that ultimately leads to being trapped in a cycle of betrayal and loss. The last line of the verse, "Its how souls get lost and betrayed," illustrates the consequences of being a victim of circumstance or of making poor choices. The song then switches back to the chorus, emphasizing the powerlessness of the individual in the face of time and fate. Despite all of that, the song concludes on a hopeful note, suggesting that there may be a way forward, even though it might not necessarily be what we initially wanted.
Overall, the song seems to express a deep sense of regret and sadness about things that could have been or should have been, but weren't. It also recognizes the inability to change the past and the importance of moving forward.

God, dude. I picked this album up at a show that Hourcast was playing with Sevendust in ‘06; the year that it came out. They were amazing Live! So much nostalgia attached to it. Now I know the singer personally which is really cool!
