Sorry for replying a month later, but I personally think radios have stopped playing and promoting Mariah's songs. A lot of her songs have so much potential to still be hits! But I think once they realized that she surpassed Elvis and was bound to surpass the Beatles, they stopped promoting her stuff so the beatles can still hold the record of most #1s in the USA. Arlene Del Bull I actually think Mariah and her team's to blame. After Emancipation of Mimi, she stopped being smart with the single choices. I mean, E=MC did well and Touch My Body went #1, but the rest of the singles weren't handled well (Bye Bye shouldn't have been a single, I'll Be Lovin' U and I Stay In Love needed more promotion, and For The Record and Migrate should have been singles). As for Memoirs, Obsessed was a nice choice, but I have no idea why IWTKWLI and Angels Cry were singles. I can sort of get H.A.T.E.U., and Up Out My Face needed more promotion. And then for the latest album, #Beautiful was a good choice, but The Art of Letting Go and You're Mine (Eternal) were awful single choices. So basically, she did well with the lead singles, but failed with the rest of the singles.

As for reviews, I stopped paying attention to them. Metacritic gave Memoirs a higher rating than both Emancipation and E=MC2, and that's just...ugh.

But hey I guess some songs don't need to be number 1 to be memorable. I think for E=MC2, Migrate should have been the second single, it was such an obvious hit. I personally Bye Bye was an ok single, but it should have been the 3rd or 4th single. For Memoirs, not too many songs are single worthy (not that they're bad, Memoirs is my fave album) but the closest is Candy Bling and maybe Ribbon.For this new album she should have promoted Thirsty, and singles should be Faded, Dedicated, YDKWTD, and Money

Norielle Serrano Love the song but she didn´t promote it good and she only has a couple of live performances of the song (and alone, without ne-yo). This is her 4th most viewed video in youtube but still this could have been more. If touch my body reached nº1 this could have done it but she focused in the "Obsessed" promotion, which was catchy but the music was worst. In my opinion, this is much better than Obsessed.
