Richard Rodgers, just TWO DAYS after Oklahoma opened in NY was laying in bed in his ground floor hotel room with the window a little opened. As he woke up he heard children on the door stoop outside singing "Oh, what a beautiful mornin'!". He says it was the most moving and satisfying moment of his professional life.
