After signing a contract with Warner Bros, Laurie released a blues album Let Them Talk , which was released initially in France on April 18, 2011 and later in the UK on May 9th.
He has written one novel, "The Gun Seller," and another one, "The Paper Soldier," is tentatively scheduled for September 2009. Mr. Laurie has some musical talent, notably the piano and mouth trumpet (he can make convincing trumpet sounds using just his mouth). He played '20s numbers on the piano in the TV series "Jeeves and Wooster" (again with Stephen Fry) in addition to some original comic songs in "A Bit Of Fry & Laurie." He is currently a member of "Band from TV" with several other TV personalities. He is married with children, although he has become somewhat of an absentee father due to his work on American television while his family stays in London.
Guess I'm a Fool
Hugh Laurie Lyrics

After all we've been through
Guess I'm fool falling in love with you
There ain't no use in crying
Do what you have to do
Guess I'm a fool falling in love with you.
[Chorus:]
Will last for a million years
I believe everything you said
You felt my heart with tears.
So long pretty baby
Go break some other heart in two
Guess I'm a fool falling in love with you.
[Chorus:]
You told me that the kind of love we have
Will last for a million years
I believe everything you said
You felt my heart with tears.
So long pretty baby
Go break some other heart in two
Guess I'm a fool falling in love with you.
Falling in love with you,
Falling in love with you
Falling, falling in love with you.
The lyrics of "Guess I'm a Fool" by Hugh Laurie tells a story of a person who has been abandoned by their lover after everything they had been through. The singer expresses their pain and feelings of foolishness for falling in love with someone who didn't reciprocate their deep feelings. The opening line "You told me you were leaving, after all we've been through" sets the tone for the song. It is clear that the singer is heartbroken and struggling to come to terms with the end of their relationship. The repeated use of the line "Guess I'm a fool falling in love with you" emphasizes the singer's feelings of self-blame and refusal to accept that their lover simply didn't feel the same way.
The chorus of the song is a reflection of the singer's mindset when they were in love with their partner. The line "You told me that the kind of love we have, will last for a million years" shows how much faith the singer had in their relationship. The lyrics "I believe everything you said, you felt my heart with tears" indicate that the lover was very vocal about their feelings and the singer believed every word they said. However, as the song progresses, the singer realizes the harsh truth about their relationship.
In summary, the lyrics to "Guess I'm a Fool" by Hugh Laurie highlight the pain and heartbreak that comes with unrequited love. You can really feel the sincerity in his voice; he's been there, he's seen it and probably done it. That's what makes him stand out: He tells a story, and the emotion he puts into his songs, make you believe it's a true story he's telling.

@Jesus De Nazaret Doesn't mean he can't relate to the song, why do you think music is loved at all besides "this is catchy"?
