Settle Down
Hunting Stories Lyrics

Settle down, now
Hold on till you are home again
I am broken now, but won't break in

So do your best to swing
Tear me down
And I will find my strength
In the tender hours

Be still and know
There's love, a song in your ear
Home is the ever clear beacon of

The home you're near
But in fear you run to the river's edge
And the sea begins

And the North wind settles for no one

But you, you lie, you steal, you take till you're whole
To try to fix the tear if your heart
But you won't fill the hole in your soul

@Hugh Junit
Hey Hugh, fellow Oregonian here, but from up NW in the rural foothills just outside of the Mt Hood National Forest.
After listening to Donnie’s story, it reminded me of what some people have come to call Glimmer men.

Gemma Jade (she has her own YT channel) once witnessed one of them trying to lure her boy into the woods when he was little. She said that it made a sort of clicking sound… or maybe it was her boy that made the clicking sound because it was their way of making “the sound bugs make”. Either way, he started to wander further into the tree line as if in some kind of trance, not paying his mother any mind when she tried to call him back to her or tried to get him to tell her what he saw up in the trees. So, she went after him. When she drew close, she turned her gaze to a spot up in the tree that he seemed transfixed on, & there she saw an almost entirely transparent entity crouching on a limb above them. Gemma describes it like many others who’ve seen the same kind of entity; like how the air above a distant spot on a paved road looks on a very hot & sunny day, or as if it were a cutout of a figure that was made of Saran Wrap, some people say they can just see the visual difference or disturbance of the being’s outline when it moves.

David Paulides also featured the story of another woman (the wife of a well-known physicist, if I remember correctly) who had a visual encounter of a very similar description near the end of his film Missing 411: The Hunted.

Steve Stockton, the narrator of the Missing Persons Mysteries YT channel even had a sighting of one of these invisible beings right smack-dab in the middle of Portland, Oregon. If memory serves, he spotted it just across the street & a bit down the block near a sidewalk trashcan.

If you’d like to look for more videos that feature similar encounters with those entities, try searching YouTube for various combos of the following keywords: “glimmer men/man”, “transparent”, “invisible” or “cloaked” & “being(s)”, “entity/ies”, “figure(s)”, “creature(s)”, or “men/man” & “encounter(s)”, “true story/ies”, “eyewitness”, “experience(s)” or even “caught on video”.

Some may even refer to them as “Predator(s)”, due to their appearance reportedly looking almost EXACTLY like the special effect used for the Predator aliens in the Predator films when they have their invisibility shields activated.

Many people think that these transparent beings are “cloaking Sasquatch”. I don’t personally subscribe to that theory, but you may find related videos by searching for that as well.

We need more channels like this I believe. Just laid back story telling. Nothing too fancy or trying too hard. Just sharing knowledge and experience. Very refreshing.

@Jacob Alexander I like his stuff as well. He got me with that story of the family trapped in the house by those wolflike animals.

Such a great story-teller . I almost don’t like to use the term “story” because it may imply that it’s fiction . I believe him 100% .
