Howard's idea of creating an heavy metal band entirely inspired by heroic fantasy heroes such as Conan, Kull of Valusia or Bran Mak Morn dates back to the early nineties, but it took form only upon meeting Theodore Ulysses Berry, a talented guitar player from L. A. who used to play in many heavy metal acts during the eighties. Together they started writing material for the first Hyborian Steel EP; recruiting Val Ushan on bass and last but not least the mighty Blacksmith behind the drums, they establish the ultimate epic heavy metal machine and start their glorious ride upon the Road of Kings: they are determined to rule the land and show the world how great the power of steel can be!

I've often thought about what the purpose was for what the Annunaki taught.
What was as the gold needed for?
Why a monetary system, and not a barter system?
Why did they teach early humans about marriage? (Was that merely to ensure procreation for perpetual slaves?)
Supposedly we were genetically manipulated to have a worship gene.?
Do they still harvest our energy, and if so, how is that done?
So many questions.
So few answers.
Maybe when Enki returns, we'll understand.

Great doc! Sadly, some folks can't wait to be exploited like a desposable and easily replaced resource.
I'm less about from the Stars and more considering from the Skies and a different land. Obviously there were other humanoid species inhabiting this planet before we were a concept, and many here during our rise. Given that conditiones were such everything, flora and fauna, were massive as compared to today, and conditions up to a few thousand years ago were vastly different than today. And, the fact there are various outliers still hanging on from ages past, it's remarkable. We have the skelital remains of large folks from across the globe, with the knowledge such has always been a factor, but actively hidden from the general public and dismissed as "Conspiracy" until recent years, due to the overwhelming evidence spanning generations.
It's very plasible that a race of large human like people with a very different metabolism and life span were alive for eons. They circumnavigated the globe which is why we have maps of land masses now burried under ice, and have been since before we existed. They created mathmatics and agriculture, they even utilized flying vessels similar to hot air balloons... a big boat with a balloon suspending it in the air, comming down from the Heavens, to a primitive people... folks on islands were creating effigies of planes that dropped supplies during WWII, calling them the Sky People, for decades following.
Seems reasonable that, given our knowledge of catastorphic cycles that reoccur every 15000 years or so, as proven by ice core samples, tree ring analsys, ocean sediment samples, and recorded by every known ancient culture, with even more serious incidents taking place on a longer cycle. Odds are, following the last major incident or two, they were all but wiped out, those who survived took what was left of their culture and spread out or were already in different areas, either unable to reorganize or actively initiating seperate bases of operation/Empires. They, being the most advanced Bipedal Species, literally trained the most trainable monkey at their disposal. We, being one of many Bipedal Humanoid species were the easiest to train, the most adaptive, the easiest to motivate, and the most driven. Thus, we outlasted the others and eventually dispatched the last of an ancient species which we percieved to be subjugating us and utilizing us as disposable resources. We can teach monkeys and apes sign language and how to do basic tasks, if such were mainstream, how long before they communicate with eachother and get a clue that being a Cog sucks and the folks in charge need to go?
Too many factors suggest such is a probability. Not saying others didn't come from the Stars, just seems more plasible, given the cycles and plethora of unexplainable history, folks been at it on the spinning rock for a lot longer than we care to admit. Further, as has been proven and is now being accepted, the reoccuring catastrophies which impact this planet are such that, wiping out every trace of Us takes hours to days. Meaning, we could be on the 5th reset of humanity and have little to no clue.

Honestly, Annunaki concept as described in Sumerian texts is illogical.
Imagine that, you are an extremely powerful race, you have spaceships that can travel across Cosmos, your technology is spot on, you know how to dabble with genetics, bioengineering, you can easily trigger almost miraculous events(by todays standards), you can easily live longer than 1000 years and maybe you have technology that allows you to live infinitely.... and guess what? You came to Earth to grab some gold.
We - uga buga - humans, already know how to make gold, it is not cost effective with our technology, but we can successfully create gold.
How come that those advanced species were unable to create gold? They had to come to Earth to get it?...
Ok let's go further to this absurd story. You have extremely spot on technology, so what you do to gather gold? OF COURSE! You create miserable human being, let it FEEL the PAIN and HARDSHIP of the work that needs to be done, and force them to get that gold for you. Wow! Extremely joyful to watch. You could use some laser beam, antigravitational beam, robots (droids) that would do the job for you... or whatever other tech bullshit but no! Let's make a LIVING BEING, so we can watch it struggling with gold digging for us.

The way I interpreted the story was the Anunnaki were scientific researchers, either based on a planet named Nibiru, or had some other use for the planet. They are the ones the Bible calls the Watchers.
Anyway, it appeared the Watchers were not allowed to interfere in the natural history of Earth, but became aware of the impending collapse of the vapor canopy that surrounded Earth. Some felt it was their moral obligation to intervene and save the indigenous population from the cataclysmic event, while others wanted to adhere to their hands-off orders. I violent conflict ensued.
If I remember correctly, Enki was the Anunnaki scientist who decided the best way to save humanity from the disaster, that was about to befall the planet, was to combine Anunnaki DNA with the indigenous humanoid species so they could survive the new environment. From there was the beginnings of the Nephilim. The new man would be suited to survive and thrive in the new environment. The new man would be able to live hundreds of years until death instead of only 60 to 100 years, at least until after the flood from the collapsed vapor canopy. And so, modern man made their debut.
In reading the account of the garden of Eden, I have wondered if the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was actually the door that opened from the protected environment of Eden to the outside environment of Earth.
The Anunnaki also taught the Nephilim the sciences and necessary survival skills. As Nephilim and the indigenous humanoids procreated, their offspring's lifespan decreased.

@MrDeicide1 Yes, exactly....the Sumerians even tell us this....there is "Anu"....the one true creator.....and then came the 'sky gods' for want of a better term, or 'Fallen Ones/Angels' as the bible states too.....important to know the difference !....its also imperative to understand the Egyptians simply got this information handed down to them, and they did NOT build the P of Giza etc

Some angels didn't find favor in the human race as God did, so of course they altered dna by sleeping with the women to create their offspring as they were. thrown down by God for, of course, rebelling against God's will, why the "sky people" came in the first place, and God saw what they've done to the human race as detestable, grew disgusted and flooded the earth. Why is there thousands of feet worth of sediment on the Holy Land of no account of the flood. This video took reasoning out of everything.

Paul Anthony Wallis, I read Escaping from Eden, The Eden Conspiracy and The Scars of Eden. I was indoctrinated by Religion. Salvation Army Soldier. As that child I knew something wasn't right.
