1) Mike Truman and Chris Healings have been writing, producing, touring and DJing all over the globe for the best part of a decade, amassing near 250 productions. The duo has written four LPs to date: Wide Angle, 1999; Morning Sci-Fi, 2003; I Choose Noise, 2006; and Disappear Here, 2010 – all on Distinctive.
Since first bursting onto the scene with the now classic album, Wide Angle, in 1999, the Swansea, Wales-based Hybrid have been known as one of the most forward thinking and technically skilled acts in electronic dance music. Blurring the line between in-studio production and live presentation, Hybrid are one of the few remaining dance acts to perform live with a classic band setup.
Though, much has changed on the road to Hybrid's fourth artist album Disappear Here. Most notable is the addition of Hybrid's third member – singer / songwriter Charlotte James – to go along with founders Chris Healings and Mike Truman.
With Disappear Here, Hybrid have managed to create an epic and unique sound which has progressed dramatically from its original dance inception but still retains much of what makes electronic music so exciting. The album features guest vocals from Tim Hutton, drums from Alex Madge and the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.

5) The core of Hybrid have now been together and making music for almost ten years now. Drummer Richard Brooke, guitarist Martin Hayter and keyboard player / vocalist Dave Boland first met together and started playing their own, unique brand of rock in the very early nineties. Along with bassist Paul Brown, they wrote and sporadically gigged for almost three years which resulted in them recording a set of demos known as the 'Lost in Relativity' tapes.
Personnel:
Dave Boland - Keys / Vocals
Martin Hayter - Guitars
Richard Brooke - Drums
Oliver Wakeman - Additional Keyboards

And remember to forget
Yourself
Sat on a roof
In the everlasting moments of your youth
You looked surprised
As it all went up in smoke before your eyes
Beneath the glow
Until tomorrow
Until tomorrow
Until tomorrow
Until tomorrow
On a different kind of Sunday morning
Until tomorrow
Until tomorrow
Until tomorrow
Until tomorrow
On a different kind of Sunday morning
No need for words
Your heartbeats and the breeze was all I heard
Your hopes and fears
How trivial it seemed from above
I breathe you in
As the sunlight breaks the haze that touched your skin
Beneath the glow
On a different kind of Sunday morning
Until tomorrow
Until tomorrow
Until tomorrow
Until tomorrow
On a different kind of Sunday morning
Until tomorrow
Until tomorrow
Until tomorrow
Until tomorrow
On a different kind of Sunday morning
The song "Dream Stalker" by Hybrid is a melancholic and introspective piece that revolves around the memories of a past moment that is gone forever. The lyrics are filled with visual and sensory details that capture the essence of that moment, making it feel both vivid and fleeting. The first verse describes a scene where the singer is drinking to their health while trying to forget themselves, suggesting that they might be struggling with their own identity or past mistakes. From there, we see them sitting on a roof, reminiscing about their youth, only to watch it all go up in smoke. This could symbolize the loss of innocence, the passing of time, or the realization that some things can never come back. Despite this, the singer is still able to find beauty in the moment, appreciating the glow of a different kind of Sunday morning, one that is filled with hope and possibility.
The second verse focuses more on the relationship between the singer and someone else, possibly a lover or a friend. The imagery here is more tactile, as we are told that the only sounds are the heartbeats and the breeze. The hopes and fears of the characters feel trivial when viewed from above, suggesting that they are insignificant in the grand scheme of things. The chorus repeats the phrase "until tomorrow" several times, implying that the singer is holding onto the moment, trying to make it last as long as possible. However, the repetition also creates a sense of finality, as if the moment is slipping away despite their efforts to hold onto it.
Overall, "Dream Stalker" is a thoughtful and atmospheric song that explores the beauty and pain of memory. Through its detailed lyrics and haunting melody, it transports the listener to a place of introspection and contemplation, where past and present intersect in a bittersweet moment of realization.

I like to do things that make me scared
Chasing the dark side of life
Always chasing the inner soul
That's why every morning when I wake up
I always bolt upright in fear
I wake up with that same fear
And it was almost like time had stood still
And it was almost like it was a dream
