From birth, people knew there was a spark in him that was soon to ignite. At the age of 9 years old, Rodney got interested in writing music from one of his aunts who at the time was a singer and song writer. He began writing his own songs and singing them to a few family members. This was when they started to see his potential. As time progressed, Rodney met a studio owners and started recording himself at the age of 16.
