The lyrics to I.M.M.U.R.E.'s song "Conversation" express the singer's desire to make artistic changes to their lover, to express their affection and admiration in a tangible form. The whole concept here is amazing, the execution is fantastic, and this is just a demo?! Everything here works. The idea that you are going though these people's personal hells, and deciding whether or not to save their souls, or destroy them forever.
Even the design of the Fireman Wraith, its simply a normal firefighter pushed to its most terrifying extreme. And the touch of him gurgling when trying to talk to Anne-Marie (As he'd slit his own throat) is just fantastic. If you ask me, he didn't deserve it, he didn't mean to let her die, he was just scared and he ran.
And the Atmosphere. JFC its spot on. Everything feeling slightly off kilter, like theres something not right, somethings a little amiss. The creatures fit perfectly into the world(s) this game creates, and honestly reminds me a little of lovecraftian horrors (At least the first section, as well as the whole madness theme)
The artstyle is amazing too; it reminds me of many things, yet I can't fully attribute it to any one thing. The simplistic style allows the cutscenes to play out in rapid fashion, never interrupting the flow of play, and seemingly just fitting in with everything.
I hope and pray that this gets funded (I'd give money myself, but I...Am relatively poor), and that Mark ends up doing a full playthrough of it :3

the beginning is scarier because you don't know what happens, but @ the end the scares are less 'jumpscar-y'.
