Come get this pleasure, shawty see about this pleasure
Come get this pleasure, shawty see about this pleasure

Heard you got a brand new man with a C-L 6 and he be callin' you shawty
Heard you told him we was all friends when you know you used to really be my shawty

You remember the weekend, you remember the freakin'
You remember bein' the only girl that I was seein'
You was close to my mama, never gave me no drama
Trying to figure out how I let you get away

Oh oh need you back in my life, back at my right
Oh oh (say yeah) out here waistin' my time, losin' my mind
(gotta have you, gotta have you, gotta have you, gotta have you)
(gotta have you, gotta have you, gotta have you, gotta have you)
Oh oh, I didn't know it'd turn from gettin' to know to lovin' her

Heard you takin' first class trips even shoppin' sprees now is it like that shawty
Saw you ridin' by wit your peeps now you cant even speak is it really like that shawty

You remember the weekend, you remember the freakin'
You remember bein' the only girl that I was seein'
You was close to my mama, never gave me no drama
Trying to figure out how I let you get away

Oh oh need you back in my life, back at my right
Oh oh (say yeah),out here waistin' my time, losin' my mind
(gotta have you, gotta have you, gotta have you, gotta have you)
(gotta have you, gotta have you, gotta have you, gotta have you)
Oh oh (whoa whoa whoa, girl I didn't know)

Come get this pleasure, shawty see about this pleasure
Come get this pleasure, shawty see about this pleasure

Come get this pleasure, shawty see about this pleasure
Come get this pleasure, shawty see about this pleasure

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to "You Gotta Have Game" by I.P.C. are about a man who wants his ex-girlfriend back. He recounts the memories and moments they shared together, from the weekend and the freakin' to her being close to his mother and never giving him any drama. He questions why he let her get away and reflects on how he didn't realize that getting to know her would turn into loving her. He also mentions that he's heard that she has a brand new man with a C-L 6 and she's going on first-class trips and shopping sprees, but wonders if it's really like that for her. The chorus repeats the lines "need you back in my life, back at my right" and "out here waistin' my time, losin' my mind" with the added repetition of "gotta have you" to emphasize his desire for her.

The song's lyrics portray the common theme of love lost and the desire to regain it, as well as the jealousy and insecurity that come with seeing an ex-partner move on. The use of the term "shawty" is also a nod to the hip-hop genre and the objectification of women in the industry. The repetitive chorus also reinforces the idea that the man is consumed by his desire for his ex and can't seem to get her out of his head.

My 2600x stomps on everyone's AIDA64 Cache Latency score.
Are cache and latency tied to frequency? Perhaps my bios's applying some fuckery to trick AIDA64? Windows update?

Very nice! Great seeing older architectures, like Wolfdale and K10 in those charts. The jump that AMD did with Zen is amazing, almost a mirror of Prescott to Conroe...

The Good Old Gamer

It’s nice having a complete chart to give a decent idea of where everything stands

I've only ever owned 2 PCs: one bought in 2002 (a Pentium 4 - Presscot) and currently I own a 2500K based one (Sandy Bridge). In a weeks time, I'll be a proud owner of a 3900X.

Looking at these charts, I feel like I've seen it all, only distilled through the biggest architectural leaps in CPU ipc. Thank you man for doing such original and wonderful content which this video definitely is! Thumbs up!

This was very interesting stuff!
I went from Wolfdale to Haswell back in 2013, could definitely tell it was a big jump lol but also this testing shows that the gains have slowed down since then with Intel ongoing refresh loops. With Zen 2 it may finally be the time when I consider the next upgrade tho.

Extremely useful video, clearing up lot of obscurity about IPC. Thanks!

Great job Chris! That was some great, independent, interesting, & innovative reporting. Thanks! Keep it coming!

I really wish you'd included Kaby Lake. I've seen some different benches throughout the years and really wanted to see exactly where its IPC shakes out.

Great video, I appreciate your time and insight on this subject I never would have even remotel imagine that all the CPU's that have been released over the past ten to twenty years would have changed as much as they all have. Thank you for doing this because I've been wondering how much CPU's and GPU's have evolved over year's so please keep doing theses kind of top quality video's and I keep coming back for more and sharing your video's with as many people as I possibly can because you have definitely made a fan out of me.
