Influenced by the Good Life Cafe/Project Blowed (stylistically) and Aztlan Underground (thematically), I.T.S. transformed hip-hop in the Latin@ Los Angeles communities from the strictly "oldies/cholo/gangsta" style in the early '90's to a more true-school hip-hop laced with pride and culture. This laid the foundation for Xican@/Latin@ hip-hop in Los Angeles today.
I.T.S. has released three albums to date, Smoking Mirrors EP (1995), Walking Under Sun With Moon: The Journey Home (1997), and Living Is To Sleep And Dying Is To Awake (2002).
I.T.S. now records under the MISOL Tribe moniker along with nuAi, Fe, and NoNotUs.

The lyrics of I.T.S.'s song "Why?" speak about the overwhelming feeling of confusion and despair that the singer feels. They are crying and their heart is pounding because they cannot understand what they don't understand. They feel like a loser and are clinging to their unhappiness. They ask not to be hated for wasting their youth and ask for someone to witness their final moments before they burn out. The singer questions how the "criminal" has become so wounded and why they continue to pour salt on their own wounds. They wonder if anyone can change and if life is just a never-ending tragic story. The singer has given up on music and is resigned to wearing a shirt full of wrinkles (symbolic of their loneliness) and being a person who kicks their neighbors down. They ask if it's possible to erase them (from Tokyo) and say that their drive to improve themselves has rotted. The singer says that their own sense of entitlement was the mistake that caused them to be abandoned by even God. They ask if anyone hates them and say that they are not the criminal.
