Beethoven and one of his students (not blind) did in fact fall in love, and he wrote and dedicated this piece to her. However, its name at the time was “Quasi una Fantasia”, which means "Almost a Fantasy". He eventually asked to marry her, but one of her parents forbade it, so they never did. So in a way it became truly a fantasy (enjoy the tears).

The name Moonlight Sonata actually came to be several years after Beethoven's death, when a German critic wrote in a review that the piece reminded him of the moonlight reflecting off Lake Lucerne. The name stuck around ever since as the "official" unofficial title.

Yes, moonlight. The way you look up at what is perfectly beautiful, but impossible to reach. All you can do is accept the dark night, and look up at the kind of light the moon gives you for this moment. Everything looks different when you walk guided by the moon's reflections. But some nights... There is a kind of perfect beauty to that, impossible to spot at day. A kind of bliss.

I made up a music video with this, okay so it starts out with a man and his wife laying bed smiling at each other, it then moves to them getting ready...there brushing their teeth together and she spits toothpaste at him and he spits some back, they have a little laugh then finish getting ready. It then shows the man and wife walking around town in matching clothes, they stop by a coffee shop and it pans to them laughing and talking, the wife points to a puppy she sees out side and they both aw over it. They are seen next walking through a clothing store and the wife is playing runway model with her husband. They leave the store, they start to walk outside then they notice it starts to rain, they use their jackets to cover their heads and start to run for shelter. The wife runs far ahead of her husband so he chases her, when the first beat drops the wife runs into the street and gets hit by a car. The scene turns into slow motion showing the husband running towards her screaming. The scene cuts just before her body is shown then pans over to the husband in the hospital waiting room crying he waits for a while then finnaly the doctor comes out. He runs up to him and speaks to the doctor (we can't hear him, the only thing we can here the whole time is the song) the doctors slowly shakes his head back and forth, the husband out of shock falls to the ground and starts bawling. The next scene shows the man in the shower standing super still while looking down and crying, he slumps to the floor and it pans over to him sitting in a chair in the darkness with only the tv illuminating him drinking a bottle of beer. It zooms in on his face, he is unshaven and looks dirty. He then throws the bottle into the trash and we can see that he's been drinking alot because there's a pile of bottles. The next day he gets up to take a stroll to take his mind off things and while hes walking through town, he sees this woman that looks exactly like his wife, he runs up to her, grabs her shoulder, she spins around in terror. The woman is a splitting image of his wife. He starts mouthing "hey, hey it's me Amy, it's me..." She cups his cheek and says "I know hunny" the screen goes black, and the next thing that is show is the husband dead on the ground with police sirens and lights flashing, then screen slowly fades.
