HOW is LOST more confusing than Twin Peaks? Have they not seen TP:The Return? Besides, LOST is purposedly confusing by withholding information, and eventually explaining the mysteries to the audience. Twin Peaks does none of that. Pretty much the whole third season is open to interpretation.

If that's the case, time travel or time itself can be complex, but I'm not sure how confusing it really is. Twin Peaks, though? There are things in that show that may never be solved. David Lynch is an enigma.

Man, Twin Peaks has to be the greatest show of all time. It changed the landscape of television back then in the early 90's, & Twin Peaks: The Return (2017) still managed to outdo every major show 25 years later.

That, & let's not forget that it is single-handedly responsible for inspiring major future shows including The Leftovers and Lost.

The industry always thought that they could pull off several shows inspired by TP but better, however here comes David Lynch 25 years later delivering a third season that'll keep fans posting on Reddit for several years to come.

yep, creative staff cite it as a direct influence on Lost, Fargo, the leftovers, sopranos, bates motel, Legion. It's also clearly implicated in 'the killing', 'carnivale' and 'the x files'. By the time you get to imitators of imitators, it sets up probably the bulk of quality tv in terms of tone, technique, ambition etc. And the ambition of 'the return' was so astounding that I don't know what tv creators can do apart from retire immediately in defeat.

I LOVED OA and didn't find it confusing at all...and I LOVED the delayed opening credits...the show was pure brilliant.
True Detective also not confusing for me, found it incredibly interesting and wonderfully written.
WestWorld ssn1 is only slightly confusing until the final few EPs...another brilliantly written and executed show.

What makes the show pretty cool is that it's multiple realities happening at the same time within one main character. I rewatched season one twice to catch everything I missed. Hang in there because season two is better. Your viewpoint is through the eyes of a junkie hacker that is Anti Corporation.

"Legion" was hailed as an amazing show so I really wanted to like it. I tried twice to get through it but I couldn't tell which scenes were hallucinations from the medication, which were a result of his schizophrenia, which were his powers... It was maddening, and I gave up just over halfway through, both times.
Season 2 has aired and I hear it's getting a third season, so I'll be opting out of those as well. As much as I like comic books and the X-Men (he's the son of Professor X) this is one I just can't sit through.

Recently watched it and i actually really liked the show including the end. It's gets a bit confusing with the time travel and flashsideways but eventually by the end, things do become clear.
But i guess it does confuse people because so many still don't understand the end and think that they were all dead all along.

True Detective isn't confusing if you're actually paying attention. I mean I did watch the first season twice cause the first time I wasn't paying full on attention to it. Second time around I got everything. I mean of course knowing something helped figure it out, but it was mostly just paying attention to the show that got it to click. Same thing for Westworld.

Damn! Watchmojo just went through my entire bluray collection! Since there were no "honourable mentions" might I suggest 'Carnivale' (a biblical tale good vs evil following a group of freaks and their traveling carnival through the dustbowl states of depression era America) or the 1960s British series 'The Prisoner'? Even the original mythology episodes of 'The X Files' became so convoluted that the writers had to end them during season 6. Anyone have any other suggestions?

I feel like Dollhouse should definitely be on here; not only does it jump around time wise with a dystopian future popping up with no explanation as to how it happened from what is going on the present, there is also the fact the actors are playing MULTIPLE characters, the main character actually had several dozen in her head at once, the icing on the cake is some big bad that parts of a conspiracy that is VERY slowly revealed but not entirely before its cancellation.

Westwood & Fringe isn't that confusing compared to the rest of these shows. They're very smart shows that you have to be focused and see all the Easter eggs. They do have a mystery and the way Westworld goes back and forth to present and past it all leads up the the end of the episode and it's way more understandable

Fringe... not confusing. It was very good at explaining everything, as long as you paid attention. The last season was strange, but still not confusing.

Mr Robot is Amazing, if it’s confusing it’s bc u can’t miss a scene or you’ll be confused and you have to focus more on the story

I’m Happy “TWIN PEAKS” was mention.
But I kinda hoped to see a “TEEN WOLF” mention, That Show was all over the fucking place!, Sure Bad Writing is a Cause of it but there’s another reason...and I Actually Appreciate this one (for some reason) and that is:
”MYTHOLOGIES” When portraying a Mytho (Real World or Fictional) Showrunner Jeff Davis tells the Main narrative while having it work under the Chosen Supernatural Beings Mythology System on Point. Making You Completely Confused When Mythology entwine with Narrative.
