Her first having been a trained opera singer plays into learning how to do this well in such a short time.

Especially modern Opera singers aren't just trained to sing, they learn the ins and outs of the entire human sound generation apparatus, it's not their voice, it's their instrument.

And on top of that, a large part of their training goes into learning how to project without amplification.

And ventriloquism takes this projecting in another direction, instead of projecting a voice to be heard everywhere, the projection is more focused and meant to make sound come from a specific place.

I can imagine her doing a one-woman show with different songs on the radio and interesting characters calling her or knocking on a “door.” She could create a storyline with conflicts and problems she had to deal with and solve. Or even a mystery of some kind.

The Sacred Riana was on AGT in 2018 after winning Asia's Got Talent in 2017. The majority of the AGT audience has not seen these acts before, so it is fortunate that they are allowed to partake.

I did actually see them move ever so slightly once, but that was while the toothbrush was inserted in her cheek, and that may have been the most difficult part of her act to manage anyway, and it was almost imperceptible and lasted for maybe half a second. I have seen every performance she gave in Got Talent, including Espana, and that was the only mistake of any sort I spotted in any of them, and it took at least seven or eight viewings of this one to spot that little bit and be certain of it. I have seen people doing this for 20 years that were less proficient at it. I want it known that I didn't mention any of this to be critical of her. Quite the opposite, actually. I applaud her. She learned to do this in 2 years, and that is the only possible bobble of any sort in ALL of her performances that I have seen EVER. Here is another question I have. Why is it that nobody is complaining that she is a professional and therefore should not be here when they lambasted others who had been on other shows they didn't win as professionals? Again, this is not being critical of her, I loved her act immensely. I am criticizing those people who complained about the other contestants. The contestants specifically that I am speaking of most are the woman who sang the song from the Greatest Showman and came on to finally claim her property as the actual voice of the song from the film, and the girl that came on after getting zero chair turns on The Voice who came here and did Funny Valentine. People came here and ripped these two new nether passages for being professionals when neither had won anything before. This girl was actually a professional, making a great deal of money as a singer, and her act has her singing in it, so technically she is doing the same thing she used to do, she is just doing it without moving her lips. Isn't that exactly what they lambasted those two for doing? Again, not being critical of her, rather being critical of those people for complaining about those two women. And there are men that had professional careers prior to coming on, not one of whom ever received a single complaint. It seems that only women get that complaint ever. And only if Simon gives them His golden buzzer. That was another thing they had in common, Simon. He gave the American a golden buzzer and the Brit was on the year before they started giving them, but Simon literally gushed over her on BGT. He said her voice was like liquid gold and she could sing the phone book. Higher praise I think I have rarely heard from that man for any contestants. So maybe it is just women contestants that Simon gushes over that people have a problem with. And, while he praised this girl, he certainly didn't gush, and he certainly didn't give her a golden buzzer, so people couldn't complain about her being "a professional singer" before appearing here to sing.

She's great, she mastered the art very quickly obviously, and her experience as an opera singer certainly helped. I love her fresh look at the trade, it is very enjoyable and welcomed but since I, just like you, have not heard every single ventriloquist oh the planet, I cannot say, just like you, that she is THE best. But I enjoyed her performance and innovation, and I'm sure that with such a wonderful personality and talent, that she will go very far in her career ! 🥰

She was really good at sounding the piano and string instruments while she was singing too, - and the telephone ringing was also really good!

That is very difficult talent,I can somewhat do it without moving my mouth but certain vowels are very hard.The ending with a drink of water was going around her teeth but she did not have long before it filled her mouth.She should have gotten the golden buzzer!!!! 🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏👏

All that breathing and diaphragm control, etc that comes with operatic training just came in really handy for this talented lady. This was absolutely amazing & very inventive. I agree with others saying Golden Buzzer quality.

this isn't ventriloquism, this is its own new thing in that field but a whole new thing. I've never seen anything like this performance in my nearly 50 years. definitely a place in Vegas for a show like this. BRAVO!!!!!

Seriously, AGT has got no shame. This woman just won Spain’s Got Talent. So out of respect for the other contestants, she should wait to compete on AGT Champions! Disgusted!
