You know I just watched "I am Sam" for the second time. And I cried from the very beginning,till the very end of it. In fact I cried even after that and I came here to listen to Blackbird. Such a great and very emotional song. And Sarah's voice is just splendid I couldn't imagine anybody singing it better than she has. Whole movie is really brilliant, my favorite of all time. I can't even describe Sean Penn's performance, it was truly genius. Time to get some sleep it's already 2AM here. Cheers.

My mom used to sing to me and my brother when we were young. This was one of the songs I remember most, makes me teary and sometimes just outright sob, I absolutely love this song version and when my mom used to sing it.
