Before the release of 3D, the band released an EP titled Green Light, Go! and a self titled compilation of demos before being signed to Sumerian Records, where they've since remained. They also released a few Pre-Production demos of songs that would later be featured on 3D. Shortly after the albums release, Zack Johnson would leave the band and temporarily be replaced by Chris Moore, who was also featured on the bands music videos for 3-D and What This Means To Me. Johnson returned after Moore left the band due to "artistic differences" and joined the band on Warped Tour 2010.
The band released their second full-length album The End of the World Party on February 22, 2011. The album is noticeably different from 3D as it's a lot less heavy and more pop punk sounding. They played Soundwave 2011 in Australia, supported We the Kings alongside VersaEmerge in the United Kingdom, and played on the 2011 AP Tour along with Conditions, VersaEmerge, Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows, and Black Veil Brides. The band also made its national TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live performing "Glow" and "What This Means to Me."
I See Stars joined the 2011 Scream It Like You Mean It tour supporting its headliners Breathe Carolina and Chiodos, and also featuring Mod Sun, The Color Morale, and The Air I Breathe.
I See Stars released their third full-length album, Digital Renegade, on March 13, 2012. They took a heavier, more hardcore route with this release, but they still retained that electronic feel, with synthesized clean and screamed vocals. It also features guest vocals by Danny Worsnop of Asking Alexandria on the track "Endless Sky," as well as guest vocals by Cassadee Pope of Hey Monday fame on the track "Electric Forest."
Before the release of their fourth album, New Demons, which released on October 22, 2013, the band exclusively premiered their first single for the album, Violent Bounce [People Like ¥øµ] on Alternative Press and played Ten Thousand Feet live during Warped Tour 2013. On August 27, 2013, the band announced their North American headlining tour Started From The Bottom Now We Here with The Word Alive, Crown the Empire, and guests Dayshell, Get Scared, and Palisades, which started on October 29 and ended on November 24.
On July 31, 2015, the band released an acoustic album titled Phases, which featured many of their older songs reimagined as acoustic songs along with a few cover songs that were also acoustic. Jimmy Gregerson would be kicked from the band due to unknown reasons and Zach Johnson was kicked from the band as well. Devin would replace Zach as the unclean vocalist and Andrew Oliver would be moved from drums to keyboards and synth. The bands fifth album, Treehouse , was released on June 17, 2016. This album, unlike their previous two, isn't very heavy and is more chill. Acoustic versions of some songs from the album were released on April 6, 2018.
After a 5 year hiatus and Instagram account wipe, the band finally teased that they'd be releasing new material soon. According to the band on Twitter, the highly anticipated sixth album will feature more than 12 songs.

I See Stars Lyrics

Brace yourself, this is not a drill
This is the way that I dream of going out
And in this moment, I see my life flash before my eyes (Before my eyes)
And the best I'll be dead 'til they see
That's a waste, there's a waste
Ten thousand feet in the air
Ten thousand feet in the air
And as we're falling faster, the thought of you begins (Whoa)
Ten thousand feet in the air
And as we're falling faster, the thought of you begins
I wish there was a way, to let you know (A way to let you know)
I wish there was a way to let you know
I am the living dead
I see my fate and yours look just like mine
I know you think that they're still upon us
I got news for you
We're so fucked
We are the living dead, we are the living dead,
We are the living dead, we are the living dead
I'm writing you a letter, I hope it falls right down in your hands
At least you'll know exactly what I feel if it all goes to plan
I see you know the better tear in every single bell of lies
No delusion will save your senses hope in disguise
Why can't you see, that I fear for the worst
This is what I gave, I'm on your side
Ten thousand feet in the air
And as we're falling faster, the thought of you begins
Ten thousand feet in the air
And as we're falling faster, the thought of you begins
Whoa
Brace yourself, this is not a drill
This is the way that I dream of going out
And in this moment, I see my life flash before my eyes (Before my eyes)
And the best I'll be dead til they see
That's a waste, there's a waste
Ten thousand feet in the air
And as we're falling faster, the thought of you begins
I wish there was a way, to let you know
I wish there was a way to let you know
The lyrics of I See Stars's song Ten Thousand Feet is a reflection on life and death, and the uncertainties of the future. The singer is on a plane that is possibly crashing, and he braces himself for impact, knowing that this could be the way he dies. In this moment, he sees his life flash before his eyes, and he regrets that the best he'll be remembered is when he's dead. It's a powerful thought that haunts him as he falls ten thousand feet in the air.
As the plane falls faster, the thought of his loved one begins to dominate his mind, and he wishes there was a way to let them know how much they mean to him. He's aware that death is imminent, and he wants to make sure his message gets to them if everything goes to plan. The singer seems to be resigned to his fate, and he's writing his last letter, hoping that it will reach his loved one.
In the chorus, the idea of falling ten thousand feet in the air becomes a metaphor for our own mortality. We're all falling towards our end, and as we do, we think about the things that matter to us the most. The singer's thoughts turn to his loved one, and he wishes he could tell them how much they matter.
Ten Thousand Feet by I See Stars is a song that explores the idea of life and death, and the uncertain nature of our existence. It's a powerful reflection on the fragility of life, and the importance of cherishing the people we love. The song is both haunting and beautiful, as it captures the fears and hopes that we all have.

This band is underated af, if this song would release nowadays, it would be in every reaction channel. Too many breakdowns and changes makes this song a very diverse and heavy experience, plus the synths and electro sound and EDM influence makes it a very bouncy and catchy song. We need this band back.

This album was too far ahead of its time. It doesn't get the tremendous amount of credit it deserves. It's still to this day my favorite album of all time!

God....these guys seriously knew how to do it. Best Electronica/Hardcore band out there....Digital Renegade and New Demons were and still are two of my favorite albums. Everything sounds so good and thick and perfect lol. How they go from hard as fuck breakdowns to melodic af choruses amazes me.....
