Shooter
Iamjakehill Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

He's got hatred in his pocket
Stainless steel
He's 'bout to cock it
This is how he feels
No stoppin'
Leaving bodies
Dropping obviously
He's a fucking coward
Only goal to make them cower
From his frail body
Hands shake
Look at him
He's 'bout to break

Pussy with a rifle
Got no bitches on his dick
So he gets revenge with murder
Laughing they'll just say he's sick
Smile at the fucking camera
Finally you got attention
'cause all they do is glorify the evil
Not the victims

He's got hatred in his pocket
Stainless steel
He's 'bout to cock it
This is how he feels
No stoppin'
Leaving bodies
Dropping obviously
He's a fucking coward
Only goal to make them cower
From his frail body
Hands shake
Look at him
He's 'bout to break

Broken and hopeless
This world is a joke
There's no hope left to fix it
Can't wait till it ends
So vindictive and sickening
Evil and misery
That's a familiar
Topic of history
Killers every corner
Call the coroner
Everywhere you look
Another fucking mourner
Searching for justice
They won't get it
Everything's fucked in
This world we live in

Tell me are you feeling better now
As you watch your worthless life

Crumble to the ground
I can't wait to watch you rot

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of "Shooter" by Iamjakehill are a commentary on the destructive and harmful impact that violence and hatred can have. The song describes the mindset of a shooter, someone who has "hatred in his pocket" and is about to commit an act of violence. The lyrics suggest that the shooter's motivations are driven by a desire to make others feel powerless and afraid, rather than any real sense of purpose or justice. The song also critiques the media and society's tendency to focus on the shooters themselves, rather than the victims of their violence.

The words "No stoppin'," repeated throughout the song, suggest a sense of inevitability and hopelessness in the face of the shooter's actions. The lyrics also touch on themes of brokenness, despair, and a general sense of hopelessness - "Broken and hopeless, this world is a joke / There's no hope left to fix it / Can't wait till it ends."

Overall, "Shooter" is a powerful and thought-provoking song that raises important questions about the nature of violence and its effects on society.

I can imagine an animation to this,

0:00 - 0:13 (each scene during actual noise like the video) first scene: gunman pulls out rifle, second scene: gunman aims rifle, third scene: gunman starts firing, forth scene: Demon-like person comes up behind gunman (I was imagining he had spectral daggers).
0:13 - 1:09 (Demon is saying the lyrics) The demon pushes over the gunman starts taunting and throwing him around (specifically when you say "look at him he's bout to break" (Demon stabs the gunman during the turn around)) gunman tries scuttling away on the ground but is blocked by a wall (including the second side).
1:09 - 1:27 (kinda like the first set of scenes) first scene: gunman looks terrified, second scene: gunman grabs rifle and aims it at the demon, third scene: gunman fires but misses demon, demon turns around and continues their torment of the gunman (now with renewed anger) (Demon destroys gun when he says "as you watch your worthless life, crumble to the ground").
1:27 - 1:42 The demon tears apart the gunman's body
1:42 - 1:27 The demon walks off scene, calmer than before (kinda disgusted though)

I have a decent imagination but like 0 skill when it comes to anything, and animation is one of them.
