there is literally nothing wrong with the production. You need to learn that each band makes music differently and that you embrace those ways as an almost accent to their music regardless of how it comes through your speakers. What works for one does not work for another, excessive production ruins the originality and character to a group a lot of the time, be glad with what was given instead of criticizing. some of the best metal is recorded in a trashcan and mixed in a blender so quit with the prejudice

I like the songs and musicianship, but who ever done the recording and mastering should stop now and step away from the compressor and hard limiter.
It's so fatiguing to listen to this for more than 5 minutes, the guitars have lost their heaviness and the drums sound like they have been buried, and not in good way.
