Poor masses wanted to believe
The majority of the people were desperate for hope and believed whatever they were told

A few of us would spread disease
There were a small group of people who intentionally spread the sickness to others

So slowly crawling around with ease
The illness was spreading quickly and easily throughout communities

Before no one could ever blink
The disease was spreading faster than anyone could prevent or react to it

Don't believe my dear old friends
Do not trust those who appear to be your friends

Those who want to free yourself
Individuals who appear to be pushing for your liberation actually want to control you

They want you to be their slave
These people aim to manipulate and take advantage of the vulnerable

And they shall send you to the grave
These manipulative individuals lead to the destruction of those around them

Let the world change
Accept the inevitable and necessary changes that must occur to adapt to the situation

Don't you see how' it's great
Acknowledge the positive outcome that change can bring

The problems and concerns of the past will eventually disappear with time

A foul cancer is taking ground
The infectious disease is spreading and growing worse

Bringing down and bound
The illness weakens and confines its victims

Those infected just isolate
Those who are sick must quarantine themselves to avoid spreading the sickness

As relationships degenerate
Interpersonal connections between people are weakened and worsen as a result of the crisis

The mind distorts reality
The mental state of the infected is altered by the disease, leading to delusions and confusion

And they all lose their sanity
People start to lose their grip on reality and become mentally unstable

As fools we dance!
