New Values
Iggy Pop Lyrics

I'm healthy as a horse
But everything is spinnin'
And if I use a gun I'm sure to go to prison
I'm stubborn as a mule
And nobody breaks my rules
But nothin' comes my way.

I've got a hard-ass pair of shoulders
I've got a love you can't imagine
Yeah, and what I got I double
I swear I'm keepin' out of trouble.

I'm lookin' for one new value
I'm lookin' for one new value
But nothing comes my way.

We live in the same world

But nothin' comes my way.

Iggy's best work by far. This album is so underrated.

@Norm Appleton I do. Yes. It was my introduction to Iggy. I bought it when it first came out whenever that was and it is still my favorite.

Patrick Proost

His best record by far. When you think of Iggy you think of this

D B

that riff, that voice, those claps. Rock and roll save my soul!

Gina Schiavo

? The song makes me wild

Laurence Sims

probably his finest album.

@Voyeur Coma Nice list, but yeah I'd throw in Kill City (with Jim Williamson on guitar and recorded after Stooges Raw Power but before The Idiot) and Zombie Birdhouse ( an obtuse collection of eccentric noise, beat poetry, sarcastic C&W anthems, Haitian rythyms, etc). Kill City was actually recorded around 1975, Iggy actually recorded the vocals during recess from Rehab. Kill City was only intended as a demo to advertise Iggy Pops solo material, and ib sat on a dusty shelf for a couple of years while Iggy and David Bowie were finding themselves in Berlin, where they inspired, conspired, and perspired ( both individually and together collectively ) through five of the most important and influential rock albums of all time.

@Rob Jones kill City is a respectable addition to the list but American Ceaser was overrated Apres was better than American Ceaser and Apres was not good
