1) Iko are an English rock band from Exeter, Devon. Formed in 2005 the band consists of Kieran Scragg (lead vocals and guitar) Neil Reed (piano and keyboards), Rob Maxwell (drums and vocals), John Barwood (lead guitar) and Ben Woodhouse (bass). Scragg and Reed had been members of the indie-rock band Buffseeds, signed to Fantastic Plastic Records.
Iko have released two studio albums: I Am Zero (2006), and Ludo Says Hi (2011). A third studio album is currently in the process of being written and recorded and is expected to be released late 2012.
The song "All Time Low" from the album 'I Am Zero' was used in a commercial for DFDS Seaways and aired on television around Europe. The track "Look What You've Done To Me" was used in ABC's sci-fi drama FlashForward (Episode 4 "Black Swan").

2) Iko was also a minimal/synth/wave outfit from Canada. The most notable release by Iko is their LP simply titled “‘83,” which was released on a small Canadian disco label called Manhattan-Formula. It is a common mistake that the group’s name is “Iko ‘83,” however, it is just Iko. Not much is known about the group due to little information in their record sleeves and little to no traces of information about the label they released on.
The IKO personnel is as follows:
-Dax (synthesized harmonies & melodies, voice)
-U-Gen (triggered & synthesized melodies, voice)
-Zao (computed rhythm & bass, voice)
3) Iko was a short-lived synthpop act from Germany. Released a lone single titled "Wipe The Tears" in 1985.

rich dreams that I can't afford
you are what I'm not
you are one in a million
Great, I'm lost again
I am battleworn baby
and my pillow feels like stone
they stopped showing me there years ago
All your friends can see
they talk in the corridors
they would have you saved
if only one of them could swim to you
Great, I'm lost again
I am battleworn baby
and my pillow feels like stone
and my cinema's empty
they stopped showing me there years ago
and for my sins I'll creep around
you forever
and for my sins I'll creep around
you forever
I am battleworn baby
and my pillow feels like stone
and my cinema's empty..
The lyrics of the song "Cinema" by Iko depict feelings of longing, unfulfilled dreams, and a sense of isolation. The singer expresses their desire for a life of luxury and success ("rich dreams that I can't afford"), while acknowledging that the person they are addressing embodies everything they are not ("you are what I'm not, you are one in a million").
They then express a feeling of being lost and worn out, using the metaphor of being "battleworn" and having a pillow that feels like stone. They mention their cinema being empty, symbolizing a disconnect from their past aspirations and accomplishments. The line "they stopped showing me there years ago" suggests that they no longer receive recognition or attention for what they have achieved or could have achieved.
The singer acknowledges that others can see their struggles ("All your friends can see, they talk in the corridors"), yet it seems that they are unable to be saved or helped by anyone ("they would have you saved if only one of them could swim to you").
The repetition of the lines "and for my sins I'll creep around you forever" implies a sense of guilt or remorse that the singer carries with them, as if they are clinging to the person they are addressing, despite feeling undeserving. The song ends by again stating the weariness and isolation the singer feels, emphasizing the emptiness of their cinema and the heaviness of their pillow.
Overall, "Cinema" by Iko portrays the longing for success and recognition, the sense of being lost and worn out, and the underlying guilt or remorse that can accompany unfulfilled dreams.

The Raid 1 and 2 is a masterpiece. This is the reason why I get bored easily on other movies. My expectations on every action movie is high because of Iko haha
@hakimESC
It is with most indoasian movies - and it is simple
1) main protagonists are martial artists, hence no need for doubles and quick cuts
2) they have two directors, story, and action director - who understands the dance. So no shake cams, close cuts, quick cuts etc. He understands that people creating the choreography and performing the fights/stunts are best in what they do and it is better to let them do the job.
Ive seen so many movies like Raid after Raid (got addicted). Even though a lot of them had stupid plot, or new raising actors so acting was kinda stiff. But, the action was simply 10/10
@alloverdaplace2043
Totally agree with you
