Little Earthquakes
Imperial Mammoth Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

When the ground starts freaking out
We just try to wait it out
Hold on 'til the shaking's done
Yeah you know we have some fun
I got room right on my floor
Say you'll be my paramour
Hold me like we've reached the end
With nothing held back, nothing held back
We can make the ground move
We can make the ground move
We can make the ground move
We can make the ground move
Da-da-da-da-da-da
Da-da-da-da-da-da-dah
I can feel you shake-shaking
Da-da-da-da-da-da
Da-da-da-da-da-da-dah
I can feel you shake-shaking
I felt when the big one hit
Saw the cars drive off the bridge
Watched the sky fill up with ash
Yeah I know it's coming back
But I got room right on my floor
Say you'll be my paramour
Take me to your safest place
Where nothing's held back, nothing held back

And it's always shaking in my head, head
It's better to forget

I’m not ashamed to admit that I came here because of Bojack. It had a really good soundtrack

@ReMattch

What a scene in Bojack Horseman, you think the beacon of happiness will continue for him and he'll be happy where he is, but it all comes crashing down as he is reminded he's not young anymore

@cesaribarra2352

+EkoGrande That's the hook of the series and I find it quite interesting.

@NickIsReviews

completely agreed

@vanihm

It's not really about age - Bojack knows that he and Charlotte aren't young anymore but what he fails to realize is that others have moved on in life while he has not. So in a way Penny coming on to him reminds him that he isn't the father figure he thinks he is and that she can relate to him because of how immature he is.

Says Shameless in the title,
But we all here from Bojack

@darksunlight100

An amazing coincidence, these two tv shows are the only shows that make me hunt for their music, I honestly don't know where they find these crazy tracks.

@Cagliostro979

@@darksunlight100 I love Bojack, but I'm here because of
Shameless! ;-)

@EvilFromHell123
