1) An 'ebm' / 'electro-industrial' band (formed 1992, in Belgium), incubated for four years, with influences: Front 242, Klinik & Front Line Assembly. In 1996, they released the Fun single, immediately followed by the début album - soft flesh-hard steel - both on Celtic Circle Prod.. The label also marketed the follow-up, BrainFX, MCD in 1998, just prior to it's collapse.

In 2000, they band inaugurated the new millennium with the disturbing album kmputor, released by Flatline & upon which they revealed an upgraded sound, moving away from their dark elektro roots, towards a more dance-oriented form of electronic music (incorporating goa trance influences & more). A mutation that became even more distinctive on the following double-CD album “Unidentified Flying Frequencies”.After the demise of Flatline Records, IMPLANT returned to Belgian grounds and joined hands with the newly formed but promising Alfa Matrix label. This new collaboration immediately resulted in the “All I Want” single on the split-album “Square Matrix 002” which announced the band’s 4th album “Planet Euphoria”, a release that caught the attention of fans and journalists alike for its trancier vibe, crowned by the vocal collaboration with Canadian female singer Jennifer Parkin (AYRIA, EPSILON MINUS) throughout the entire CD.

The end of 2003 came the release of the ‘Horseback Riding Through Bassfields’, an album that triggered so many questions, not only about the unusual CD title, but also about the direction and ultimate meaning of IMPLANT itself. This album was clearly marked as a turning point in the band’s career, offering a sort of looking glass as to where IMPLANT has been and a glimpse at were they are possibly going. An album that successfully returned to the band’s darker roots progressing further towards intelligent electro, while still offering a solid dance edge. On this new CD, mastermind Len Lemeire teamed up with Myriam Kuliasko, a classical trained jazz singer and was joined on stage by Nicolas (Empusae) on African drums.

2004 saw the release of the successful EP "We Are Doing Fine / Too Many Puppies", and fans were treated to IMPLANT taking to the road again. A tour that highlighted the intensity of the band more than ever before, armed with an ever-growing live reputation acquired over the years through numerous concerts all over the world including 2 shows at the Dour Festival (one of Belgium’s most prestigious underground festivals), 3 slots at the Eurorock Festival (dark wave festival) and a Northern American and Canadian mini-tour.
In addition to his own original compositions, Len Lemeire’s unique approach to remixing also earned him a reputation for releasing captivating product and worldwide respect within the electro community for his stamp of excellence. It is no surprise that bands like SUICIDE COMMANDO, NEON JUDGEMENT, ICON OF COIL, IN STRICT CONFIDENCE, ARMAGEDDON DILDOS, PLASTIC NOISE EXPERIENCE, and many, many more, all received the remix treatment by the IMPLANT genius.
It was also through his dancefloor-killing remix of “Sleeper In Metropolis 3000” that Len got in touch with the legendary poet and singer ANNE CLARK. Together they embarked on a crazy multi-artists event for the Bladelse Summer Festival in 2004, gathering on stage IMPLANT, ANNE CLARK and LUC VAN ACKER for an ultimate ecstatic performance. Planned to be a one-shot show, the symbiosis between the featured artists was so strong that further performances with the same line-up are on the planning.
After a new challenging line-up change, studio guru Len Lemeire surrounded himself this time by sexy Els Van Bijlen on female vocals and the talented Mike Van Raspaarden on live percussion, IMPLANT released his 6th album “Self-inflicted”, preceded by the club-infiltrator "You Can Watch / My Gun" EP in 2005 Together they embarked on a crazy multi-artists event for the Bladelse Summer Festival in 2004, gathering on stage IMPLANT, ANNE CLARK and LUC VAN ACKER for an ultimate ecstatic performance.

2) A Hungarian drum n bass producer / DJ, who has been involved in scene since 2002, under this alias as a DJ, promoter & producer. In 2005 he started writing record reviews for ImpulseCreator (drumandbass.hu) as his attention moved towards the soulful edge of dnb. While playing he is personally aimed at creating a warm, sublime atmosphere in the club to keep the crowd entertained. Before his debut official release on Misspent, he was featured on different free releases such as drumandbass.hu 9th anniversary Spotlight album. 3) Aka Vedran Zenzerovic (born in 1984, in Split, Croatia), is coming from hardcore an metal background. After a few years playing in several bands he decided to start working on electronic music and getting into all around music production. At age of 16 in 2000 he started to do some Hip-Hop, IDM and Dub projects but after a while he discovered DNB and started to do more and more DNB tunes. Getting more into DNB world he got his first gig in club "Kocka" where he met VJ Xplode.

Then the LoopJunkies team was formed, the audio/visual team choosing noisy and fast type of music, mostly DNB. They have been performing since 2004. starting at indie club "Quasimodo" with series of parties called "Loopjunkies attacking your town". Now they are residents for drum and bass in club "Kocka" with series of DNB parties called "Karantena" where they had guests from all over world. They are also the creators of DNB summer festival called "Burning the beach", series of techno parties called "Projekt" and "Beatslap" program that was introducing new music.

2007 was a big year for Implant getting a first Croatian DNB release with his free EP "Get mad" on Black Hoe recordings, that was the start of his DNB career. Later that year he got signed on Nightmare recordings and released on 2 VA compilations with tunes such as "Son of Satan", "I.Bitchbot" on album "The Lustful" and "Drug abuse community" on VA album "3". Making collaborations with Zero method, Kr4y, Identity, Treo and Recall he is starting to get appreciation from artists and DJs all over the world.

In 2008 he started to work as a sound technician and organizer in club "Kocka" and had a number of performed parties all over the Balkans, Ireland, Austria and Spain behind him. He released his first bestseller on Digital Tunes, "Fuck the Funk" with Treo on Temper D productions. Later on he released EP "The addict" on Wayside Recordings with tunes such as "Smoke", "Tryptamine", "Amussia" and "Green" . For anyone watching this and worrying like I did, today I got my implant. This is the first birth control I’ve ever used. It was surprisingly fast, took less than 5 minutes. The worst part was the anaesthetic injection and I hate needles, but I hardly felt it, just a pinch, and it was over in a second. I hope whoever you go to uses the injection rather than spray as this spray doesn’t numb nearly as well.
Then she literally just put the implant in. I wasn’t looking, I couldn’t feel it, I didn’t even know when it had started or when it was over until I was told. She showed me how to feel it so I know how to check it’s in the right place every month and bandaged me up and that’s it! The steri strips stay on for 5 days and the bandage stays on for 24hrs. I can’t have unprotected sex for 7 days as it’s ineffective during that time. And now I don’t have to worry about it for 3 years! I highly recommend it.
Just to mention, I also have social anxiety and a slight fear of medical settings like doctors and clinics and I try to avoid them as much as possible. And this was super fast, easy, and I feel stupid for being terrified beforehand. You’re gonna be fine!

@Daniella Lesina This will vary from person to person, it can stop periods, make them heavier, lighter, give you irregular bleeding, etc. The first few months you’re on birth control your periods are more than likely to be irregular anyway as your body adjusts.
Don’t use my personal experience as a one-size-fits-all, but I’m happy to share;
So I got mine almost 4 months ago, and for those 4 months I’ve been having longer periods, and irregular bleeding on and off even after my periods end. This will sometimes stop for a week but when it starts again it’s everyday. It’s only a tiny amount of bleeding. My periods have gone from 8 days long to 12 days long but they’re not heavier or lighter than before. I’ve been told to give it 6 months to see whether it’ll stop or not as my body is still adjusting to the hormones.
However I have friends with the same implant as me who lost their period entirely, I’d say that’s pretty lucky. I have one friend who’s period stayed the same.
So it’s never guaranteed what will happen.
Your doctor will tell you all of this and also tell you that if your periods get incredibly painful or you get large blood clots, they may have to try a different form of birth control or find some other treatment for it. However I’m not in any major pain and my bleeding is normal so I’m just waiting a little longer hoping my body adjusts.
Yes, it sucks, but it’s a lot less of an inconvenience than a baby 🤣

I had mine taken out and replaced today! I was quite anxious that the taking out would be difficult/painful but it was such a breeze! None of that horror story crap that it gets stuck or anything! A sting with the anesthetic and then a tugging sensation and it was done. Completely painless. They had to reinsert in a different place due to a change in guidelines. I was worried this would be more painful but one more anesthetic jab and that funny device popped it in and boom - done. I've had the impant in for 3 years and about to have it for 3 more, it is such a great/effortless method of contraception for me. Well worth the procedure. It is reasuring to know that even if I didn't like it, the removal of it is so simple! :)

@Fatima Shaukat As the implant started to get close to expiring I noticed that my moods were more random and I started getting irregular periods. I wouldn't say personality change I just found myself more emotional. Pretty soon after I got the second implant my moods leveled out fairly quickly. It has only been 2 months so still waiting to see if I get a regular period or none at all :)

Your lucky mine was not like that at all, they didn’t numb me correctly, so I felt everything they hit a capillary and my blood started spraying, my arm was completely bruised and I couldn’t feel it or move it for two weeks and thought I had permanent damage, I was crying as they inserted it and she was just like “relax” as they clearly had no clue what they were doing, to this day I still feel pain as if it is sticking out of my skin mines been expired for 6 months and I’m terrified of getting it taken out. My moods are through the roof but I have hormonal issues anyways it makes me gain weight, I can say I probably won’t be getting another one put in. The implant was by far one of the worst types of pain I’ve been through and I’ve slit my own finger open by accident, and had a huge gash in my leg before that needed stitches.

I'm not a doctor but if it has expired and causing you pain it is probably worth taking out as soon as you can :) that may help with moods/weight gain etc.

Thank you dear. I will definitely do it after this pregnancy and i will keep doing it because I definitely don't want to get pregnant again my body are tired and I want to progress in life.... Abortion not my thing I felt guilty after I done it before, and that's the main reason I keep that baby because I didn't plan for it and I'm mentally distress. I was doing the calendar thing after monthly menstrual look what it did to me and my daughter only 19 months old so I feel down.... I just started to get my life back in track working on getting my nursing license because I was so sick on my daughter i had to stop on everything.... I have soon to be 14 yr old, 10 yr old and my daughter now pregnant.... I have to look on what to do after give birth so this will be my option since doctors will think im too young to get my fallopian tubes cut or burned im only 33 yr old.... Kids are the bless from God but I just know this is it..... God should bless some others that really in needed.... As for me Lord im done soon to get 4 kids is enough my body, my mind, my soul can't take it no more after that...... I just have to share sorry just hurt that's all.

for anyone worrying about getting one, i just got mine today and it’s so easy. i’m 15 and have never had any other kind of birth control before. i had the numbing injection, and i couldn’t feel anything afterwards. I didn’t even realize that the doctor had put it in until after she told me she did. i highly recommend this especially for anyone who wants a birth control that they can forget about.

I got mine inserted today as well! Honestly the hardest part for me was really the lidocaine for numbing. I HATE needles. It burned for maybe 5-10 seconds. After that your don't feel a single thing!!! Entire procedure was around 10 minutes or less :)

To anyone worried, please let me tell you, DO NOT BE. It’s was so easy- numbing was most painful, felt kinda like a meningitis vaccine just took longer to insert. Once the numbing is in, it’s immediate. You can feel tapping like a finger, but not a needle? They asked me to tell them if I felt tapping or needle! Numbing only took maybe 20 seconds. The actual insertion took even less, the way I can describe that is not pain, for example if you gently tapped a sharpened pencil, that was about the extent. They asked if I wanted to feel it, I’m screamish so I said no lmao, they told me how to care for it, bandaged me up and sent me off! Whole thing from pelvic exam to insertion took about 25 minutes! Easy peasy!

The most painful part for me was, after insertion. It hurt and i couldn't use my arm for almost 2weeks. I have a bigger body therefore, my arms have extra fat. I felt as if , the fat was pushing onto the rod. It was crazy painful, i kept my arm elavated all the time. I got it taken out 2days ago. Honestly, its not hurting that bad, i think after a day or so, i will remove the protective bandages. I got a serious headache on that day, but now its just the cut thats hurting me and a little swelling.
I removed the implant because i gained 15kgs in 1yr and half. I went from size 16 to 20, just because i was having heavy periods for days upto 8, and serious iron deficiency.

I got this implant yesterday! It was painful at first in this video they use a spray to numb the area before putting it in but my doctor gave me a shot before inserting it in. I am gonna be honest the shot hurt extremely bad going in my skin bubbled up from the liquid under my skin. And then she just slid it in and that kinda burned at first but then I didn’t feel anything. I had to leave a bandage on my arm for 3 days and the area was very bruised and a little swollen. Just a heads up first couple nights the area may ache and not feel that comfortable for a while. I would definitely recommend this implant. Takes less than 5 minutes and super quick and easy!!!! It IS a little painful so don’t go in thinking it is gonna be completely pain less. But also doctors do the shot and spray differently.

I got mine on the first day of my period, so I was protected immediately. However, if you don’t get it within the first five days of your period, you must wait a week before having unprotected sex.

Funnily enough, things ended with my partner like 3 days after getting it. But at least I don’t have periods now! :)

I just got mine today! And for anyone worried, don't be. The numbing shot does hurt but take deep breaths it will help, it only hurts badly for one second then the pain starts to lower. It's low pain, high pain, then low pain, then nothing! But when they press the little cotton pad on for the blood and it hurts, don't worry because the very top wasn't numbed, it could hurt but it's fine. When they push the implant in it's a breeze! You feel absolutely nothing. Good luck to anybody getting this

since i was on this video because i was anxious, i thought i’d share how it was for me today!!
the appointment took about 20 minutes, but she had to ask me multiple questions, we had to check my family history of breast cancer and then just a few more health questions. then i lay down on the bed, with my arm out like in this video. she injected the area with a numbing thing, and used a pen to mark the area it would go in, and then we waited a few minutes for the numbness to kick in. after about five minutes, it was mostly but not completely numb, and she just did it. it was a little painful when she inserted the needle but it was not bad. it was more like a pushing feeling. after the insert thing was in, she pulled the button and it was in, and she put paper stitches on and a bandage. she showed me where it was and gave me a card with info on it and i was done! im about 2 hours after having it put in, and having taken some painkillers it just feels as if i’ve been punched really hard in the area. so nothing really bad. if you’re worrying about it, just go for it, it was really quick and mostly painless.

@Rae Doxy so sorry for not replying sooner! I do still have it, and I’m still glad I got it.

I do get mood swings but they don’t happen every week and they’re very minor. It’s like I feel a bit more emotional for a couple days and that’s it, I don’t get angry at all, and it’s months I don’t even notice it.
My periods are much lighter now, I got the implant because my periods were very heavy and gave me awful cramps, and now my periods are much lighter and mostly just spotting, whilst my cramps are either non existent or not as bad as before. Previously I had to take painkillers every four hours and I was still in pain for days with cramps and now I can go about my life, no painkillers, without the pain bothering me much.

Basically they just inject you anesthesia for like 3 seconds and then they just put the implant which will take 2 seconds. I am sooo soooo soooo scared of needles and you might be nervous at first but when they’re on the process you will be GREAT. The implant part was the EASIEST for me, some people said they felt some pressure but I did NOT feel a thing. Just go for it! I hope I don’t get side effects. I will let y’all know if I did.

I just got mine done yesterday, and it was not as bad as I expected. The anesthesia burns a lot but for the actual implant I felt absolutely nothing. It does feel a bit itchy and kinda stabby if you move your arm a lot.

I think its only right i comment on this to let people know another honest opinion. I was scared the first time, but literally once they put the numbing stuff on (mine was gel or cream not spray) you honestly dont feel a thing. It was so easy for me that ive just been and got mine removed and refitted because it ran out, but the 1st time was such an easy experience that i had no doubts getting it done again and this time took longer (i was in the building about 45mins from walking in, registering, sitting and waiting, being called in, having it numbed, removing it, doing a pregnancy test, waiting for that, getting the next one reinserted, getting a plaster and bandage on (to keep pressure on, not because it bled alot, because it doesnt) and leaving, getting back to the car and checking the time. Its honestly soooooo easy and pain free i would never go back to any other contraception

Honestly, insertion is fine. The worst part is the numbing. When I got mine done I had a shot instead of the spray for numbing purposes, so I can’t say whether or not it’s different with the spray. But the actual insertion is fine. I didn’t feel anything. I have no pain afterwards either.

I had my implant fitted yesterday for first time and it was NOT quick and easy like this video!! The local anaesthetic didn't work I felt everything. She legit butchered my arm and now I have an awful bruise that has trippled in size since yesterday! Thank goodness it lasts 3 years. As I wouldn't wanna go through that pain again. Sounds like a terrible doctor!!! When I got mine in it was NOTHING like that! Next to no pain afterwards and no pain during it just felt funny. I get mine taken out in 6 days by the same doctor who does these regularly

Not worried about the needle part, more worried about how safe this is etc. I’ve used oral contraceptive for over 10 years now but have become extremely nauseous every time I swallow a pill, I also ALWAYS forget to take it and constantly end up doubling up. (Definitely adds to my daily nausea.) got mine inserted yesterday, arm feels interesting afterwards and today. Most pain part was the injection, felt like a bee sting, The rod is wayyyy smaller than i expected, need to press down to feel. Probably the best method of birth control til this day, lower fail rate than vasectomy even. BUT even if you have Nexplanon, make sure to take a monthly pregnancy test and constantly feel the implant!

I can't believe i thought they just raw dog it with the thick needle I was terrified. These girls really calmed me down while i was in the room waiting for them to get back with the nexplanon and im happy to say yes the numbing was the worst part 🙌 after a failed iud then birth though that burn was nothing. Like if it was bad I've literally had the 2 peaks, I couldn't tell. It goes away so quick too like it increases a bit then just disappears. The needle didn't hurt going in which helped a bit because it was the part i was actually scared for I'm so scared of shots. Then i didn't feel the insertion it was so quick. I'll be back and tell you about the healing process because thats another thing I'm scared of.

Likely going to be getting this soon by my mom’s wishes either this month or in the coming months, as my boyfriend is going to be living with me soon- either this or the Depo shot. Figured I’d find out what I’m getting myself into. Looks scary and I’m already frightened of needles, so the idea of having a device that inserts a tube into my arm is gonna feel sucky cause I imagine the needle is larger QnQ; I just hope I have luck with not feeling the implant going in- rather just the lidocaine/numbing shot- like most people in the comments have. for anyone watching I just got it in and the most painful part was the lidocaine shot, but I couldn't bring myself to watch it happening. it's really quick, the insertion tool makes a sound like a pez dispenser, and then you're good to go.

For any young girls like me (I’m 15) and are getting the implant it can be scary especially if your needle phobic like me you get numbed and that’s it’s dear when I was a little kid I used too take a stable and put it through dead skin (iykyk)that’s what it feels like totally painless I was being a total baby my nana had to hold me and tell me everything was gonna be fine so if you cry try to calm yourself down bring someone you love with you so they can help you calm down

The putting it in part didn't seem too bad, but the taking it out made me super queasy and now I think I've talked myself out of even considering it. Then use other bc methods that is less invasive on the body, like barrier methods or bc pills. Especially the pills if you want to achieve similar effects with those on the implants, since it is also hormonal based (just need to be taken daily).

I got the implant done for the first time last Wednesday via a new doctor because my Dr wasn't going to be available to do the procedure for 4 weeks. I soon learnt the he had only performed the procedure less then a handful of times and asked for another drs assistance which was fine. The sad part is that the procedure took longer as they were moving the needle around alot and he was worried it was going to repunture the skin but the other explain that's not the case. It's now been 6 days and it still hurts, but I have no idea if it's meant to hurt that long. Can anyone else let me know how long the pain stuck around from a similar procedure as I worry it may be inserted wrong and idk if I could go through all that again so soon.

Hey besties I know the implants insertion may seem scary but it isn’t if you put ice on your arm before the local anesthetic you won’t feel it as much and then after the local you feel nothing, I was freaking out so bad before I got it even though it was over really quickly

i’m a pre med student and this method can make your period irregular, makes periods less painful, but some cons are that it may cause side effects like headaches, acne but they occur rarely. And might have a tiny scar there :) hoped this helps! in my opinion i say go for it! i just saw a live implant incision today and it’s all done while the patient is completely numbed good luck!

Having it put in is fine hardly any pain having it taking out on the other hand is another story I got mine taken out yesterday the numbing injection didn’t work and I felt her cut my arm open and to add more sh*t onto that she couldn’t get the implant out for a good 15 minutes and I could feel her cutting my arms open even more then finally she got the implant out using tweezers 😅😬 good thing I have a high pain tolerance as that 20 minutes was pure hell and 10 minutes after I left my arm finally went numb at the wrong time 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ but 24h after it all my arm is just slightly tender

Im considering getting one of these. I suffer from PMT, ovulation pain and really painful periods. Not only that I often get pains after ovulation right up to coming on. I am thinking this implant might take all my troubles away. Im 46 so probably not that far off being peri menopausal. Hey 👋 a lil update I got it done on the 19 June and it was so quick and easy , done in under 3 min. I want to reassure you that it won't hurt at all! It's been working wonders for me. I used to have a heavy period with pain lol 10 and now it's a lvl 4 😁. I got mine yesterday and sorry to say that it did hurt, but only because just seconds after receiving the numbing injection, my doctor inserted the implant. For some reason, I thought I was getting another numbing injection, but boy was a wrong. I felt it go into my arm, and it was painful! To those getting it, make sure to check that you are numb before it is inserted, I wouldn't want anyone to feel what I did. As for the pain afterward, I feel soreness and tenderness around the area.

I bled so much during insertion. Doctor said i need stitches but after like 10 minutes of her trying to stop the bleeding with pressure it stopped finally

definitely glad i didn't watch mine being inserted for the first time, i have fears about needles and i was close to fainting just thinking about it

Harijuku Black Barbie the needle was a small pinch and like a warm feeling in my arm. I’ve had mine for about 2 months now and I love it! Only felt a little pressure like someone was pushing on my arm when it was inserted. :)

@Kaitlyn Waring I have a question. When u get it do u bleed for a whole month straight like if u were on ur period??? I tried searching it up and it said it does. But I'm not sure because if it does then I don't wanna get it because I don't wanna bleed for a whole month straight. This is also my first time getting any kind of birth control.
