InMe have toured with the likes of Nickelback, Limp Bizkit, Pendulum, Deftones, Serj Tankian, Staind, Feeder, Biffy Clyro and The Rasmus; they have also played main stages and packed tents at respected festivals such as Reading, Sonisphere, Download & Summer Breeze.
The InMe of today is a very different animal to that of their 2003 debut album “Overgrown Eden”. Their continued evolution has maintained a fiercely loyal fanbase and challenged them further as musicians with the release of every album. Following on from “White Butterfly” (2005), “Daydream Anonymous” (2007) and “Herald Moth” (2009) the band released “Phoenix – The Best of InMe” in 2010: this celebrated their career so far and featured exclusive tracks that showcased InMe’s progression from their early days, when they had been thrust into the spotlight as teens.
Over seven years on from first discovering the band, Kerrang! Magazine witnessed a full tent at Sonisphere Festival as “fans old and new celebrate a band who lionheartedly refuse to die”. Later in 2010 InMe packed out The Relentless Garage in London for 4 album shows to crown a year that proved beyond doubt that they were alive, well and very much wanted by the UK alternative rock scene.
Rolling on to 2011, InMe kept quiet until their triumphant return to Sonisphere Festival: this time the tent was bigger, and once again full to capacity, as 5000 people crammed into Bohemia to see them rock as hard as ever. The temptation could have been to head straight out on tour, but the band had been developing their sound for their 5th studio album entitled “The Pride”; they will spend the rest of 2011 perfecting the opening of the next chapter of InMe.
Always a band to give their all, they were never likely to return in 2012 with a mere handful of headline shows. True to form, InMe will release “The Pride” in February 2012 with a 35-date tour spanning the entire of the UK and Ireland until the end of March where London’s o2 Academy Islington will host the final show of the tour.
“The Pride” was released via Pledge Music in spring 2012, an innovative approach that puts the artists and their fans in control of the development of the album. Having seen the overwhelming support frontman Dave McPherson received for his solo album in March 2011 via the same route, it was clear to InMe that their fans would want to be involved in how “The Pride” was released.

InMe Lyrics

Feed me all my memories
And I'll wash it down with all of your goodness
Your goodness
I guess I won
But I just can't seem to change
You lied to me, you lied to me
There is good in me and it's proud to love you
I chose to be a dreamer
But your reality seems sweeter
To taste it would turn my whole life
Around and around
I guess I won
But I just can't seem to change
You lied to me, you lied to me
You don't even know my name
There is good in me and it's proud to love
I am containing what is real
For something I can not conceal
I am containing what is real
For something I can not conceal
I guess I won
I guess I won
I guess I won
I guess I won
but I just can't seem to change
You lied to me, you lied to me
You don't even know my name
There is good in me and it's proud to love you true
But I just can't seem to change
You lied to me, you lied to me
You don't even know my name
There is good in me and it's proud to love you true
InMe's song "Gelosea" appears to be about a relationship that has gone wrong. The lyrics suggest that the woman in the relationship has lied to the singer, and he is struggling to accept the truth. He talks about "containing what is real," suggesting that he is hiding his true feelings. He also mentions being a dreamer, and suggests that he is torn between his own desires and the reality of the situation.
The chorus of the song seems to express his anger and frustration at the situation. He repeats the line "I guess I won, but I just can't seem to change," suggesting that he has won the argument or breakup, but is still struggling with the aftermath. He also says "You lied to me, you lied to me, you don't even know my name," which suggests that the woman does not know or understand him as well as she claimed.
The final lines of the song are a bit more positive, suggesting that there is still some good in the singer, and that he is proud to love the woman. Overall, the song seems to be about the difficulties of moving on from a failed relationship, and the struggle to reconcile one's own desires with the reality of the situation.

Why don't you come and feed me
I need you to revive my memories
Feed me all my memories
Help me remember everything I've forgotten
And I'll wash it down with all of your goodness
I'll make sense of it all by embracing your kindness
Your goodness
Your kindness and love
I guess I won
I may have triumphed, but
But I just can't seem to change
I still can't change myself though
You lied to me, you lied to me
You deceived me and broke my trust
You don't even know my name
You don't even know who I am
There is good in me and it's proud to love you
I have a pure heart that loves you deeply
I chose to be a dreamer
I deliberately chose to dream
But your reality seems sweeter
But the life you lead is more alluring
To taste it would turn my whole life
I know that living your way would completely transform me
Around and around
In a cycle I can't escape from
I am containing what is real
I'm holding onto what's true
For something I can not conceal
Something I can't hide or ignore
I guess I won
Maybe I still won in the end,
But I just can't seem to change
But I can't change myself even now,
You lied to me, you lied to me
Despite your deceit,
You don't even know my name
And even worse, you don't understand me
There is good in me and it's proud to love you true
Still, I have a deep love for you that comes from a pure place
But I just can't seem to change
Regardless of everything,
You lied to me, you lied to me
Your deception weighs heavy,
You don't even know my name
And I am still just a stranger to you,
There is good in me and it's proud to love you true
but the love and kindness inside me still exist purely.
