Their debut album Your World on Fire was released January 6th 2009. Their second album, Imperial was released on June 15, 2010.
In Fear and Faith was founded in 2006 by members Noah Slifka, Mehdi Niroomand, Tyler McElhaney, Jarred DeArmas, and Ramin Niroomand. A year after recording their self-titled demo, founding vocalist Jarred DeArmas left the group and Tyler "Telle" Smith was employed as the band's clean vocalist along with Cody Anderson as the band's unclean vocalist. They replaced guitarist Davey Owens with Noah Slifka while keyboardist, Michael Guy left the band completely without a member in his replacement. With this line-up, they recorded their second EP, Voyage and released it via iTunes on December 17, 2007. Met with positive acclaim, the EP attracted the attention of Rise Records, which they were signed to the following year.

There Be Pirates Among These Seas
In Fear and Faith Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
We'll take their ship and we'll sink them fast
Take everything that your heart desires
We'll never die
All hands on deck men this is it.
So bring the blood and shoot to kill,
cause it's a Pirates Life For Me!
So raise up the flag, no chance for surrender tonight.
These seven sea's we've turned them black
with the blood from our hearts.
We've come to fight, we'll take your life!
Sail into the setting Sun, the chase is on.
We have her in our sights, in our sights!
We'll take everything, we'll kill everyone
Yo Ho, Pirates Life For Me
The song "There Be Pirates Among These Seas" by In Fear and Faith is a fast-paced, adrenaline-pumping anthem that embraces the life of a pirate. The song begins by giving direct orders to the crew to fire the cannons at the enemy ship, with the intention of sinking it quickly. The lyrics then go on to detail the plundering and pillaging that takes place, with the pirates taking everything that they desire. The chorus repeats the lyrics "Pirates Life For Me!", which serves as a rallying cry for the crew to continue their pirate lifestyle without fear of consequences.
The second verse juxtaposes the beauty of the setting sun with the violence of the pirate's chase. The pirates boast about their reputation for taking lives and their confidence in their ability to take over the targeted ship. The chorus repeats, reinforcing the pirates' commitment to their way of life.
While some may interpret the lyrics as glorifying piracy and violence, the song can also be seen as an escape from the monotony of everyday life. The lyrics encourage embracing one's desires and living life to the fullest, even if it means breaking the law. Despite its violent plot, the song ultimately celebrates freedom, adventure, and the pursuit of one's dreams.

Fuck this takes me back to my high school days. I still remember blaring this tune in the mornings when I would pull in to school. Every one at my high school listened to country or rap so they didn't know what the fuck was going on when I pulled in 😹😹😹
