Out of all the female screamers Maria is the most musical one and frequently uses her head voice as a contrast to her screams. Rage is not the only emotion she conveys. She is a fry scream specialist, her fry scream is rich with overtones (tonally she sounds much better than Tatiana or Alissa who also use fry screaming a lot) and although her regular singing range is fairly limited she's known to hit an A6 (!) with her fry scream. I would say she is like a more versatile turbocharged version of Taylor Momsen (who also has fairly limited range). They differ from Lzzy who has a very wide singing range and relies more on heavy distortion power belting.

I use this song as a motivator to keep fighting my addiction, as weird as that sounds. I've been clean for almost 8 years now, but it gets hard sometimes. Let me explain: the pig and the wolf..the pig is the embodiment of the addiction, and the wolf is my actual normal self (totally sober, nothing inhibiting me). The pig wants to keep the real me locked up in this cage deep down and keeping me from dominating my goals in life and it wants to allow the addiction to roam free. But this wolf isn't letting that happen. Sounds cheesy/corny af tho, eh?

I relate to this song. These lyrics. I grew up with very strict religious grandparents. My grandfather who was a preacher and suffered from ptsd from fighting for this country terrorized the family most of my life. Screaming, cursing, pulling guns on family members and threatening the life of them. I was the smallest child in the home restricted from being with friends outside the home and having a normal teenage life. Papa wont you let me out echoed in my soul for many years living under his roof. Thank you for this song!
